anyway. I keep seeing that post (and others similar) like "don't get ai to beta your fic give it to the mum of three working full time etc etc" which is funny and true and I love it and it captures something very real about the way we all squeeze this stuff into our wild and different lives but

I am a person who does actually do okay in fandom with knowing people and having friends! I am truly hashtag blessed! and yet still I find asking someone to read something and beta it (and I do mean quite actively beta, not sense check/spell check, I want their beautiful wisdom and for them to be a little bit blunt with me pls) really really hard and it makes me sweaty and stressed and anxious!!

so ftr. if you don't know me. or if you do know me! if I am a friend or a parallel playing fandom presence, whichever!! you can always ask me.
