Morning After

“Um… Maybe a bit of bacon, too? I feel like I havent eaten in ages.” she said, because the only thing she had eaten in the last day or so was the small bit of cake she had at Vincent’s party the night before. And even though she didn’t feel hungry persay she knew she had to eat something of substance if only to keep her strength up. Merlin only knew what was creeping through the halls of the school and if the night before was any indicating of what was to come Tracey feared she would have to fight at some point or another to save her own arse, for it was becoming clear to her that there wasn’t anyone who would save it for her. After the party Tracey was starting to feel as though she was on her own now, and it was a new and very scary feeling to have.

"Of course, honey!" 

[i dont know how you send for the elves to bring you food. so im pretending theres a spell thats like a pager. or something. idek.]

With a flick of his wand, Wayne sends off the spell to request breakfast in bed. Although, looking at the analogue clock on his bedside table, it was more of an early lunch. 

Wayne crawled up onto the bed, sitting next to Tracey. He threw a protective arm around her shoulder. She was getting that 'thousand yard stare' again, her eyes glossing over with the fog of her thoughts. He knew she was probably thinking about something terrible, and he had to be there to shake her out of it. The problem was that he couldn't think of anything positive enough to bring her out of this funk.

  Tracey grimaced as the word ‘baby’, a term Greg used on her when he was either in trouble or when he wanted something from her. The sound of it coming from Wayne now set her on edge, brining her back to all those times Greg had used it, causing her face to grow sour.

“Like shite.” she muttered out, peering down at her best mate who had slept on the cold floor, feeling a bit bad for making him give up his own comfort for hers, but not enough so to say anything about it, the selfish cow she was.

She did, however, move over a bit and patted the now vacant spot besides herself, indicating to him without words that he should join her because although she was awake she wasn’t quiet ready to get out of the comfy warm bed just yet. “Will the elves bring us toast and tea if we ask? They will for the Slytherins and I feel this morning is a good lay about in bed and have toast and tea sort of morning, with everything that has happened.” she finished with a soft yawn and stench, pulling at her tight muscles in her arms .

Wayne missed the sour look from Cece because he was popping his neck at the time. Twisting his head in both directions, Wayne stretched his neck until he heard seven satisfying cracks. Last night had been harsh on his body, and he had fallen asleep too drunk to wake and fix his position. The crick in his neck today was the least of his issues. His side had a cramp the size of Ireland, his arm was slightly numb and tingly, and he had somehow bruised his ankle in his sleep. However, he was willing to bare it, knowing that his friend was better off than himself.

"I know, Cece, I'll go call for them. Just tea and toast? Or, do you want something else as well?" He knew the Elves hated bringing things to the slytherins, as they could be heard every morning complaining about it, so he was nervous about asking for something this morning. Normally he would go and make it himself, sometimes even helping the elves with their cooking. Perhaps they would be forgiving.

Morning After

The bright morning sun peeking through the curtain that hung around Wayne’s bed causing Tracey to groan and pull the covers over her head. Being a Slytherin she wasn’t use to the sun, bright and blazzing in her eyes so early in the morning as the windows in her dorm looked out to the dark and murky waters of the lake, keeping the room shadowed and low lighted at all hours of the day. It didn’t help matters that she had had a restless night, tossing and turning as her mind worked out the previous nights event: Greg and Daphne, the Potters, Wayne. And whenever Tracey felt stress she never slept, being someone who thinks and lives within her head more so than any normal person should. 

Signing she dramaticly flopped onto her back, her eyes heavy due to her lack of sleep and the tears she had shed the night before. Although she wanted to sleep she knew there was no point - she was just too worked up. So, huffing for good measure she kicked the blankets off of herself and sat up,rubbing her puffy, red rimmed eyes.

Wayne awoke to find he was being smothered with a blanket that had fallen on him. He had no idea when the quilt had fallen, but he assumed it was quite recently. He struggled, in vain, to untangle his body from the freshly fallen blanket and the quilt his Nana had knitted him so he could get out of bed. He sat up suddenly, only to hit his head on something. 

Twisting around, Wayne realized that he was not on his bed, as he originally thought, but rather wrapped around one of his bedposts. He sat up, rubbing his sore forehead, to find a red-eyed Tracey in his bed. Last night's events came back to him.

"Hey, baby, how'd you sleep?"

  It’s not yer life, it’s mine, and I’ve been living it normally. I’ve been going to classes, doing homework, taking care of Gwen, not getting involved with other people. It’s not even possible that I was snake, I’ve been working to become an animagus and I can tell ye that I will not take the form of a snake.

Lizzie is my sister, and I care more about her than I do about some boyfriend.

  I - we - whatever - drunkenly shagged him once at party. I don’t know who ye are but the real Wayne wouldn’t fall in love or date someone so suddenly. Even Cece knows that. And ye don’t even have a hint of a Scottish accent, how can you say yer not the one impersonating me? I’m not going to do what you say just because you think you’re the real Wayne. If we don’t tell them and they find out another way, they’ll take us both and I… I might never get to see Lizzie again.

I shagged SEamus at a party, you did nothing because you were a bloody snake at the time. I dont know where youve been, but Seamus and I have been a thing for four months. thats not very sudden, and maybe that means YOU are impersonating ME if you dont remember four months of my life. Who forgets four months? 

I swear, if you somehow make it so that Lizzie loses me, I will personally hex you into the 2000s.

If given the choice between the two, Wayne would rather hang out with Pav than Pad. But chillig in the Library was good too!Even Wayne needs his days away from the stress of friends. sometimes he will go draw or paint while sitting next to he while she reads or studies. Its nice to just sit with her quietly. They dont always talk, but when they do, its always a random fact or tidbit that is extremely irrelevant. Lately its been good medicine for keeping his thoughts away.

also: He's called her Pads since first year, at the time, he didnt know about the reference to period juice. he does now, but he tries not to think about it. Because ew.

How could I be shagging Seamus? How could I not be shagging Seamus?! We are kinda botfriends seein each other. I can do that because I'm the real Wayne. And as the real Wayne, I vote we dont tell the aurors anything because I am not having my arse dragged out to who-knows-where to get tortured with who-knows-what.just because ye decided to impersonate my body.
