      “i’m really not sure about this plan.” malia sighs, walking forwards and casting her gaze around them, checking to make sure the coast is clear. “we should’ve developed it more, instead of rushing through things.” she adds, stopping and running a hand through her hair. “there’s not even anything here. this is DUMB.”

      “maeve...” malia’s eyes are wide as she stares at the young girl in front of her, her feelings running wildly inside her as her mind fills with questions and confusions. how is this possible? how is her little sister here? ALIVE? “what...how...” she can’t even word her thoughts. she’s too SHOCKED.

   The girl soon follows the others example, sitting down and looking over to her. “I have some spare ones, if you ever want them -” The offer was made rather quietly, offering a small smile along with her words. Her head nodded as she listened to Malia speak, she certainly had a point in what she was saying. “It is rather relaxing.”

      “well, only if you won’t need them...that’d be nice.” malia smiles back, managing to relax more around the girl now that they were out in nature. it calmed malia to be out here - the areas were a lot more open and the fresh air soothed her. “i always find it better to be outside rather than inside.” she admits, with a shrug. “although, i like being outside more at night. it’s pretty.”

      “how do you deal with it?” malia asks, her voice a great deal softer than normal. her words are slightly vulnerable, which is such a rarity for malia. she hates showing a lot of emotion. emotions confuse her. but now she’s sitting, head down, addressing her alpha with a sad tone and big sad eyes to match. “people dying? not being able to save them?”

While Bonnie was all for romance and love, she wasn’t exactly experienced in that area. At all, actually. Which was partly the reason for the bet. She wanted to prove to the strawberry blonde genius that she wasn’t as pure as she seemed, even if it was a lie. “It was a ‘who could get more numbers’ bet. Lydia won. Hey, maybe Greenberg won’t show up!”

      malia tilts her head, curiosity covering her features as she has an idea. “hey, i could always MAKE SURE he doesn’t turn up, if you want me to.” she says it casually, like it’s something she does daily. but then again, she just might. who knows with malia. “if you wanna escape it that badly.” she adds quickly.

      being chased has turned out to be one of the worst things malia has to deal with. and she’s considering this as she runs from the creature behind her. it’s gaining on her, she realizes with alarm, and so she speeds up. unfortunately, she becomes aware of another, most likely innocent person ahead and, feeling like being nice this one time, she slows down so as to grab his arm and tug. “RUN!” she yells.

      malia rolls her eyes and shrugs her shoulders, giving him a blank look. “you think i care?” she asks, with a scoff. “you’re wrong.” she tells him, gaze flickering sideways as her mind moves to other things. she’s panicking enough as it is internally and so she can’t bring herself to care about petty, human things when there’s so much else on her plate.

      “i’m too tired to understand any complicated words or sentences, so just explain to me in simple terms and there won’t be a problem.” she doesn’t mean to sound snappy, not really, but she’s had no sleep and so, naturally, she’s feeling extremely cranky.

      lydia takes a moment to let out a groan before turning herself over in bed. “you won’t be alone. scott, stiles, and kira are all there and it’ll be fine. you’re not staying here.”

      a huff. then, malia plonks herself down on lydia’s floor, sitting cross-legged and getting comfortable. she doesn’t mind just sitting here - it’s nice in lydia’s room, plus even silent company is appreciated. “tough. unless you can MAKE me leave, i’m staying.”
