I made a post about it a few days ago but here it is! My first multi-chapter work! Currently 2 of the chapters have been released (if you already read chapter 1 shhhh just pretend i released both of them now).

This is also my first time writing angst so hopefully it's not like the spongebob rollercoaster gif or absurdly edgy.

Each chapter should be posted about 1 week apart from eachother unless the ao3 writer's curse hits me and I get sent to the deep caverns but I'm sure I can work something out with Brimstone to still get the chapters out.

Random Saturday Headcanon: He had a very short (but also extremely embarrassing) Edgy phase not to long before he ended up joining Blakk Industries. Saturday absolutely hates when anyone brings it up and once thew his blaster at someone for mentioning it.

they DO exist in the context of the fic/my fanon gang Saturday runs!

Broc, Roc, and Smoc are Commander Croc's kids but their biological mother was poached by hunters before they were old enough to remember her (because if slugterra has exotic species of animal-human hybrids there's probably poachers). They see Saturday as their uncle but since he's not at the base very often (atleast prior to the fallout with Blakk) they don't see him very often.

during the events of the fic they are back at the group's main hideout because while they DO have blasters and slugs Croc doesn't want them doing anything dangerous yet.

Hudu Vudu is the unfortunate victim of Saturday's early Cryptogrif experimentation and is stuck in a half zombified state. He can think for himself and act without Saturday's orders but is extremely devoted to Saturday and would literally do anything for him (also he might have a crush on Saturday but nobody can tell if he's just a freak or it's the zombification). Saturday likes that he does whatever he wants him to but the fact he can still talk freaks him out.

He is absent during the fic because he's watching Croc's kids even thought he REALLY wanted to go with them but Saturday ordered him to stay behind.

Slugterra isnt the ONLY fandom doing it. Heck the Ben 10 fandom is a hell hole when compared to the slugterra fandom in this regard but ive been seeing slugterra again so i decided to rant about its fandom for now.

Do you have any head cannons about Saturday’s minions ( sorry I forgot their names)and what was their reaction to meeting Nacho for the first time?

Absolutely! I love how the Slug it out games gave us unique characters with some extra fun designs to spice up their retelling of the story!

(I will include their SIO1 sprites at the end for visual reference)

(the ones I will be primarily referring to are the ones that appear in my fic, "I wrote this so i could make Mr. Saturday wear a dress" it's slightly less cringe than it sounds I swear)

for starters they aren't exactly his "Minions", while they do consider him their leader they're more like Saturday's gang members and are significantly closer to him than anyone at Blakk Industries.

starting off with more general headcanons I have for them as a group, y'know how it's pretty common for gangs in slugterra to have one guy that's sort of the "muscle" yeahhh they're basically all muscle except for Saturday so they basically have a designated "most human looking and can fit in tight spaces guy"

ok that was kinda long here's some shorter ones before I list out the ones I have for the individual members (- Saturday this is about his friends not him)

Blakk told Saturday to cut off contact with them after he joined Blakk Industries (his ass did NOT do that)

Spirex used to be part of the group but got kicked out after getting his "spider superiority" complex

all 3 of Saturday's gang members are in a polycule. Saturday is perfectly fine with this

Usually acts as the meat (or I guess shell) shield

dumbest out of the 3

by far the most physically durable but also the slowest

Commander croc

Moves significantly faster in water

always the first one to resort to violence if a stealth mission goes wrong

VERY protective of the rest of the group

doesn't like leaving the sewers

As for the Nacho question I don't think any of them have met Nacho but if they did it would probably depend on whether Saturday was introducing him or not,

If Saturday introduced him they would probably be skeptical but would tolerate him for Saturday's sake. If Nacho showed up on his own they would probably attack him.

anyways here's their SIO1 sprites since these are pretty obscure non-canon characters (sprites are in order of the list above)

(I just realized when I checked the wiki but croc is called gator in SIO1 but uhh commander croc sounds better I'm going with that) anyways thanks for sending this ask! It's always nice to have a place to infodump/yap about this stuff :D

can you explain nachoday

Roz I know this is you but I'm going to use this as an excuse to yap about the ship anyways (guys feel free to send me asks about my slugterra headcanons/ships I have things to talk about and I need excuses to talk about them)

the ship name is pretty straight forward when it comes to figuring out which characters are involved (Mr. Saturday and Diablos Nachos) but this ask is a wee bit vague so I'm going to explain how I think the ship dynamic would work and why I like it + some extra stuff I feel like sprinking in at the end.

Starting off with my interpretation of their dynamic aka "how the BARNACLES are these 2 even together"

In terms of personality I think it's pretty noticeable that they aren't very much alike, Saturday is pretty outgoing and seems to thrive when he's given the spotlight while Nacho is more reserved so I can definitely see Saturday trying his hardest to get as much attention/affection from Nacho as possible but possibly being underwhelmed by how much he feels like he's getting.

obviously we have to take into account the fact that they are both working under Blakk and thus probably have to keep their relationship a secret but I feel like Saturday would not care in the slightest leaving nacho in a constant state of "please STFU before Blakk finds us he might LITERALLY kill you if he thinks you're an obstacle" while Saturday just treats it more like a game.

Overall I feel like Nacho really does care but isn't very good at expressing it and Saturday can't quite understand that it's not his fault Nacho is like that.

Now for the section on why I personally like the ship (everything from here on is prob gonna be bullet points)

I like ships where they are both evil as FUCK but not to each other (most of the time)

Saturday is in it

I like the idea of Saturday having to hide a relationship when he would much rather be showing it off

Nacho having to balance giving Saturday's spoiled ass enough attention and making sure Blakk doesn't find out about them could be fun

anything that might piss off Blakk brings me joy

They're both hella autistic to me (no I will not elaborate) but in like different ways

and now for the extras: the ✨angst potential✨

Nacho disappears at the start of season 2, Saturday prob doesn't return to the citadel after Mission: Improbable but it's not like either of them can TALK about being separated from their boyfriends since they gotta keep it a secret

Nacho gets dragged off by shadow clan in light as day. Is he alive? Is he dead? We don't know! and neither does Saturday (though having Saturday find him on the verge of death post shadow clan attack could be cute or make it worse depending on if Saturday can save him or not)
