Jack Kornfield

Practical Wisdom: By observing how things fundamentally work without human interference, we find peace and balance in our daily lives.
The beauty of the temporary comes from impermanence—knowing that a moment, phase, or connection will end is precisely what makes it precious and sacred.
Heightened Attention: When we know something won't last—like a sunset, a season of life, or a brief encounter—we pay closer attention and feel it more deeply.
Releasing Control: Accepting that things fade helps us let go of unrealistic expectations and appreciate the present as it is.
“The secret of Buddhism is to remove all ideas, all concepts, in order for the truth to have a chance to penetrate, to reveal itself.”
― Thich Nhat Hanh, Buddha Mind, Buddha Body: Walking Toward Enlightenment
