 As a singer with a low voice, for much of my life I’ve tried to stay away from singing solos in my low register. Most songs that guys sing are too high for me, and I’ve spent a lot of time training myself to hit the high notes at the top of my range while basically not using the whole lower octave of my voice. 

 Only recently have I begun to embrace my voice as my voice and bring songs lower to meet me where I feel really comfortable with them. This song “Home” is one of the first songs I started playing around with in a lower key, and it makes it really soothing and peaceful to sing.
