Don’t go jumping to conclusions. I can trust my friends.. Can’t say the same about you right now. I should’ve known you didn’t have the balls to make the hard decisions. You’re an Alpha, Will — at least, for now. You know what that means. We’re supposed to be the best of the best, and you can’t stay that way if you’re not willing to cut out the people that drag you down. Brotherhood should always come before friendship, I thought you of all people would understand that. It doesn’t matter, though. If you want to play Switzerland, that’s fine by me. Just know that if you’re going to start a civil war because of a fuck buddy you’re not willing to let go of, it’s a war you’re going to lose.

Only because it’s a bit difficult to trust that you’ll do what you say when you’re so tight on her leash. Clearly your way doesn’t work anymore, Will. If it did, we wouldn’t be having this conversation. Used to trust you — that’s the operative word here. It’s easy to trust someone until you see they’re willing to throw fifty people that are supposed to come first under the bus for one. I’m sure you can understand my skepticism. You need time? Jonas, you are my brother and you are one of my closest friends. I like to think that's still true. I'm not on her leash but I'd also like to think that I won't sacrifice friends for someone else. It doesn't matter if I'm fucking her, that's not the issue. I wouldn't dump Wyatt if you asked me to, I wouldn't dump Jake or Caleb. But I also wouldn't dump you or Liam if anyone I've known basically my whole life asked me to because friends just don't kick each other to the side. So no, I'm not going to just stop talking to her and it's a shitty thing to ask me to do it. Put me on probation if you need to, I get it. But I'm not compromising my morals just because you ask me to and I wouldn't expect you to compromise your morals either. I'm loyal but everyone has a limit and abandoning friends is my limit. I'm sorry if that means you can't trust me but if I give up my values, my principles, everything that makes me, me, simply because you ask me to, what kind of guy would I be? That's unusual but obviously you know what works best for you. I always try to finish things as soon as humanly possible but that's mostly because I would forget about them otherwise. I'm guessing it's not like you're failing?
