Post-epilogue Mike Wheeler, 30 years later. He has a failing marriage, a failing career, he hasn't talked to any of his friends in over a decade because he just can't stand it, and he's suffered from the same reoccurring nightmare of watching El get sucked into the void since the day it happened. He steps forward, falling of the cliff overlooking the quarry. He hits the water and is suddenly overcome with a deep desire to live. He swims to the surface, gasping for air and wiping water from his eyes. Suddenly it's the middle of the night, and he's looking on as a little version of himself watches paramedics pull Will Byers' body out of the water.
