Will & Jackie | Early Morning
On the way back to Will’s apartment, Jackie walked faster. She felt like she was gone for too long and maybe he would think she had left for good. When she came back to his place, she barely had time to put the breakfast down on the table, he was standing in front of her with just a pair of jean and his wet hair. He was just getting out of the shower and a little bit of water was still pearling on his chest. Jackie tried not to stare too much. She realized she needed a shower too though but it would be way to weird to ask him if she could take one. It will have to wait. She smirked back “Of course I came back, you thought you could get rid of me that easily?” she throw him the keys “look, I even brought some black coffee” she said walking toward him and handing him the cup.
"I didn’t know what you like for breakfast, so I sort of bought a lot of things" she said with a sorry look on her face "so there’s pancakes, donuts, waffles, bread and other stuff". She looked at everything on the table and realized she might have gone a little bit overboard. "I thought I could do something nice and bring it to bed" she started, bitting her lips. "and we could watch the movie we never watched last night?" She blushed a little bit "I mean, if you want… We can leave the leftovers on the table for your roommates or whatever" she said finally, drinking a long sip of coffee and lying down on the counter.
William smiled as he reached over grabbing the coffee, he moved and set the coffee on the counter before grabbing two plastic plates before setting them down on the counter. "Well, you'll eventually learn this about me." He said grinning slightly as he opened the box of food and a bright smirk was on his face and he started to set food on his plate. "There is never left overs." He finished opening the drawer searching for silverware.
"We can do that if you want." He shrugged as he looked for some syrup, pouring it over his pancakes. "These are my favorite by the way." He smiled a gain and he pushed a plate over to her. "Oh, and you can use the shower or go home and shower if you need to..." He said as he felt his wet hair on his forehead. He gathered his plate and grabbed his coffee, and moved from the counter over to her and he kissed her cheek. "Thank you for breakfast." He whispered gently into her ear.
Will & Jackie | Early Morning
Jackie knew that Will was teasing, but she couldn’t help but feel like maybe he really wanted her out and he was just being nice. Maybe it was all in her head but she had kind of impose herself to him and maybe it was time to go. She sighed. Going home meant thinking and going back to reality and she wasn’t really ready for it. Her eyes followed him into the bathroom and once the door was shut, she sighed and burried her face in her hand. She was awake now and she was starting to freak out again. When he left the bathroom, she was still in this position and it’s only the sound of his voice that made her raised her head. She wasn’t really tired anymore but he looked like he could use a moment to rest so she made a decision.
She left the bed and walked toward him. “Well, I’ll tell you what” she said wrapping her arms around his neck “You stay there and I’ll be back in a while” she stood on her toes so she could reach his lips and leave a gentle kiss there. She pulled away then, looking for her leggins and her sweater. She dressed up and tied her hair in a very high bun before reaching for his keys on the nightsand and opening his door. She was gonna exit the room when she realised she owed him an explanation “I’m gonna get us some breakfast” she smiled before leaving for good.
She hadn’t left him much of a choice, but she really needed to get some fresh air and she thought he would maybe appreciate it. She stopped quickly by her appartment to grab a jacket and some money and left the building in direction of the coffee shop. She took the time to start a cigarette and to enjoy the walk but tried to ban Will from her thought. It was easier said than done though because everything reminded her of him. She stopped in front of the coffee shop to finish her cigarette before entering. She didn’t really know what he liked for breakfast so she decided to take a bit of everything and two large cups of black coffee.
William reached out grabbing her sides giving her a soft kiss in return. He helped her find her clothes and leaned against the wall watching her. He almost didn't notice she had taken his keys. "Oh, I thought you were just leaving me." He smirked slightly and he followed her out of his room and to the front door. He smiled slightly looking over at his roommate he nodded slightly and shut the door behind her. He didn't know if he'd just gotten weirdly played of if she was actually going to return with food. He watched as his roommate left for work as well. He was glad to have the apartment to himself.
William was so dumbfounded by what had actually just happened. The girl had just walked out of his apartment with his keys. He shook his head slightly before he walked back into his bedroom, leaving his bedroom door open. He laid down on his bed and grabbed his cigarette from the ash tray and relit it. He stayed like that for a moment, taking a long drag before he walked into his bathroom, deciding to take a shower.
[ About ten minutes later ]
Will hopped out of the steaming shower, starting to dry off. William found clean boxers, pulling them on and he grabbed jeans, looking up as he was connecting the belt as he heard the front door open. He walked out of the bathroom and into the living room he grinned, his hand running through his wet hair. "Oh, you came back." He said smirking brightly.
Will & Jackie | Early Morning
"What, are you some kind of sex addict?" she teased answering his kiss. She knew what he meant though, it was a miracle they were lying in a bed with still some clothes on. She could wait though but looking at Will next to her, she realised she was making things difficult for him. She smirked at the thought. For once in her life, she felt like she was in control and she was able to test him a bit.
Jackie gladly took the cigarette he offered her, remembering that being out of cigarettes was an excuse he used to convince her to come. She looked at him smoking for a while before actually lightening up hers. It was kind of her thing, watching people. For some reasons, she found that incredibly attractive, even more on Will. “So?” she asked before rolling over him to get to the ashtray. Her chest was now pressed against his and she stayed there a few second, gently brushing his cheek before going away. She sat down, her back resting against headboard. There was teasing and teasing, and she didn’t want to push him too much either. “What should we do now?”
William couldn't help but roll his eyes. He was about to pull the cigarette to his lips when she moved over him. His lips pressed together and he shook his head, it was so like her, he thought to himself. He was confused by the thought because he barely knew her, and it was starting to bother him. William put his cigarette in the ashtray after after a few puffs. He slowly started to sit up.
"I kick you out and I go back to sleep." He teased, getting up off the bed, he walked into the bathroom that connected to his room. He shut the door behind him, trying to be respectful before he actually pissed himself from waiting so long. So, after washing his hands he raised a brow as he walked out of the bathroom. "Well, we can do whatever I guess. His head was starting to clear, no longer clouded with the want of sex. "I wouldn't mind sleeping all day." He trailed off rubbing the back of his neck.

That is really not good. You need help fixing it?
I think I'll have to call someone to fix it..
Will & Jackie | Early Morning
As her mind was sliding back into unconsciousness, Jackie felt the young man going back under the cover. “Good” she murmured. She could feel the brush of his fingers on her back and she groaned in content. This had the effect of keeping her awake, not wanting to miss on any touch. She let him do that for a while, waking up slowly at every soft caress against her skin. She was in this transitional state, where she was awake enough to function but where her brain was still too sleepy to function. That way, she could just enjoy the moment, without freaking out over everything. After a while she turned back on her side and pressed her body against his, facing him. She slipped her hand behind his neck, playing gently with his hair before gently pulling his face closer to her so she could kiss him softly. “Morning Sunshine” she chuckled softly before resting her head close to his neck. Her hand had left his neck for his side and she was tracing line. Pressing her lips against the closest patch of skin she could find.
She was smiling. Because it was so simple, so nice and natural and yet she felt like she had known him forever, like they had been together forever. She knew this would have to end eventually, and she would have to think about all of it, but as long as she was in bed with him, she couldn’t care less. Her stomach rumbled and she laughed at the sound. “I think I’m hungry” she said, reaching for his lips again.
William settled down, into a half sleep. His eyes were closed, his brain asleep. Everything except the gentle movement of his hands slipping up and down her back. His fingers rolled along her spine. He was smitten with this. He would pay to wake up next to her every night. Her movements woke him and he tilted his head and yawned loudly. He blinked slightly as his lips moved slightly kissing her back. His hand slipped from her back to her stomach. It slipped up until he felt the material of her bra and he stopped, and smiled sheepishly. "Good morning beautiful." He whispered softly.
His arm wrapped around her pulling out from under his shirt he pushed up against her and tilted his head sighing softly. The sleep wanted him bad, but he feared he wanted her more. A soft moan escaped the back of his throat and he pulled back from her lips on his neck. "No, No, you'll get me started and I wont stop." He said grinning a little and his hand slid down her back and down to her bottom, pushing against her.
"I'm hungry for other things." He sighed, leaning in kissing her softly. He rolled over to his back and his hand reached out grabbing his pack of cigarettes. He pulled out two cigarettes before handing one to her. He was glad they smoked the same ones or it'd be horrible. He grabbed his lighter before handing it to her. He wasn't about to share this one. He needed it to bad. He stretched out and he took a long drag, exhaling through his nose. He scooted over closer looking at her. "So,
Will & Jackie | Early Morning
[a couple of hours later]
It took Jackie a moment to realise that the sound she was hearing wasn’t a part of her dream. Her first thought was to wonder why her alarm wasn’t sounding like her usual alarm and why it was ringing so early. Her second thought was to wonder why there was a guy half naked in her bed. It took her a few seconds to remember the night before, that she wasn’t in her bed, it wasn’t her alarm and the man sleeping next to her was Will. They were still curl up against each other, in the same position they had when they fell asleep. Still exhausted, she pushed Will to wake him up “Will” she mumbled before yawning “your alarm”. She rolled off on her side of the bed, it was still way too early to wake up. She had a class in the morning but decided to skip it. She would probably fall asleep anway. She also had to work at the bowling alley at the begining of the afternoon, but again, she would probably called in sick because there was no way she’ll be able to put up with annoying teenagers with not enough sleep.
She sighed. She remember Will saying he would call off work but she wasn’t sure he would actually do it so she was ready to leave his bed and walk like a zombie back to her place where she would crashed and sleep forever. She wasn’t very pleased with the idea of going back to sleep without Will so she rolled back until she reached him. She opened up her eyes, enough to see where his face was and gave him a lazy kiss before crashing back into the matress. She pulled her arm across his chest, trying to secure him into the bed, just in case he was thinking about leaving. “Stay with me” she mumbled, her face burried in a pillow before falling back asleep.
The screaming of an alarm had slowly dwindled into his sleep. Overcoming any chance he had of falling back to sleep and letting the alarm go, he felt a pushing and he groaned softly. and sat up. He rubbed his face reaching over grabbing his phone that he used as an alarm. His thumb scrolled across the screen turning it off. He sat there for a few moments and he looked down at her, and he couldn't help but smile. William slipped back down in the bed and sighed heavily wrapping an arm around her, as his other hand texted his boss. He tossed his phone back onto the nightstand.
Surprisingly the few hours were enough to get him going. He could have managed work but, he snuggled back down under the covers. His hand found his shirt that she was wearing. He pushed it up slowly. Despite the fact that William could not see, he liked the way it felt. He grinned slightly. "I'm staying, don't worry." He grinned a little, his eyes closing as his finger tips ran up her back slowly, wondering if she had fallen back to sleep or not.
I accidentally smashed a window in my apartment.
Will & Jackie | Late night calls
The shirt she was wearing smelled just like him. Jackie smiled when she felt him slipping into bed next to her, and she didn’t resist either when he pulled her closer. The lights were now off and she could make any face she wanted, he wouldn’t think she was a freak so she just kept smiling and wrapped her arms around his bare chest, burrying her head against his neck. She could feel his struggle, his muscles, so tense under her arms and she felt bad because she was doing this to him but she was too tired to respond. “I’m sorry” she murmured before kissing him softly. His lips tasted like cigarette and it was weirdly enjoyable. “You must hate me right now” she added before snuggling up against him.
She unwrapped her arms and found his hand instead. She tangled their fingers together and played with them was her other hand were tracing gentle line on his chest. Her eyes were closed and for the first time in a while, her breathe was steady. She tried to fight though, she had wake him up and now she was the one falling asleep in his arms. They were so comfortable though, she felt at ease, like the whole world could crumble around them, she would be safe there. “I know you’re trying” she said, softly pressing her lips against his chest “tomorrow, I’ll let you be this guy if you want” she finished in a whisper. She chuckled a bit at the thought. They were saying just a few hours earlier that they should take this, whatever it was, slow, and there she was, already half-naked in his bed. That wasn’t slow, and planning things for the day after wasn’t slow either.
William grinned as he felt her move closer. It was strange, they didn't know each other at all. However, he felt like he knew her, of course he didn't. He felt like it was something deeper and more profound. He almost laughed at the thought, but it was almost like their souls knew each other. It was an undeniable pull towards her, and he was glad these thoughts were erasing the little devil on his shoulder telling him to go that far, to be that guy but he wouldn't. She deserved better, and that thought and that thought alone is what kept him sane.
He sighed gently holding onto her. "My alarm will go off in a few." He whispered softly and he started to relax into the bed, he could feel the hopelessness of sleep washing through him and starting to pull him under. "I'll have to call off work." His voice mumbled and slurred. He gave her a gentle squeeze "So I can spend the day with you." It was a grumble and he was already drifting asleep.
William & Holden ll brothers
Holden had slept fast through the knock, but Atlas certainly wasn’t going to let him be - he went ballistic, jolting him awake. He slammed his head back onto the pillow and sighed, laying there for a moment. Evan lay beside him, still asleep, and despite the blankets, he was cold, really cold. Hesitantly, he glanced over at the clock - 6:17. He’d popped six or seven allergy pills the night before, and they’d finally gotten him to sleep around five. Well, he hadn’t expected to sleep much that night, anyway. On any other January 27th, he’d sleep all day and save his visit until the last few minutes, late at night so he could be alone. But a lot of things had changed this year, so maybe it was time to shake it up.
Getting out of the bed was likely one of the hardest things he’d done, but he knew that stupor would stick around for hours until the diphenhydramine had left his system, so he forced himself to stand, slowly so as not to wake Evan. He looked down at himself, half-wanting to just answer the door in his boxers, but his dresser was on the way out so he stopped to pull on a pair of pants before trudging to the front door. He looked through the peephole, and if he wasn’t so goddamn sleep-deprived, he might’ve taken a moment to be surprised that his brother was at his door at six in the morning on the anniversary of his mother’s death. It made sense, sure, but they had never spent this day together. Their perspectives had seemed so different to Holden, and honestly, he’d always been afraid of intruding on the grief of someone who had actually known her.
Holden briefly hoped he didn’t look nearly as run-down as he felt. He rubbed lightly at his eyes and smoothed his hair quickly and put on his best nonchalant, I-was-totally-already-up face before swinging the door open - silly, maybe, but it was a bad day for both of them, and he just wanted to be cooperative. “Will,” he said, speaking quietly because they were probably the only people in the town awake at that time, “What are you doing here?”
William leaned against the small part of the white door frame as he waited. He wasn't sure if he was say yes, and he wanted to leave. It was probably the best bet, but the dog barking had stopped, and he could hear footsteps walking towards the door maybe. He wasn't completely sure. But he had already pulled himself up from the door frame and he looked forward. For some reason, he was regretting this completely. How could he need someone, he was always the one that was needed and he didn't want this to change now.
With the conflicting emotions still running through his mind he looked forward at Holden who had just opened the door. Why was he being quiet? He had forgotten about that girl he lived with the one he claimed to love. He wasn't sure about it, but she was nice enough to deal with some of the shit Holden had put her through. Everyone has problems, maybe Holden's just spoke more loudly to Will. William was always looking for an excuse. Blinking once he shrugged slightly. "I'm...going home to see her. I was wondering if you wanted to go?" He said simply. He didn't need him. He chanted that in his mind. "Sorry, to wake you up.." He trailed off and he stepped back from the door looking down the hall.
Will & Jackie | Late night calls
Pressed against him, with his jacket over her shoulder, she was starting to feel warm again. A soft kiss on her lips also helped the warmth to spread in all of her body and put instantely a smile back on her face. She took one last drag of the cigarette before throwing it into the trashcan, while they were walking toward the building. Well at least they got some fresh air, she thought once they were back inside. She grinned at his words “I think I can deal with that”. She wasn’t completely sure, but at least, she would try. She welcomed his arms with pleasure and pressed against his chest, closing her eyes while she waited for the elevator to take them on Will’s floor. “Sounds like a plan” she murmured. When they got there, she groaned a bit because she had to let go of him, at least until they got to his room.
Once they got there, she took off her pants almost instantely and without waiting for his autorisation she grabbed his shirt, pulling it out. “I’m gonna need that” she smirked leaving a kiss on his cheek. Will’s chest was really distracting and she stared a while before taking off her own sweater. When she realised she was standing in underwear in front of him she got self-conscious and slipped on his shirt quickly before sliding into bed under the blankets. The bed was soft and she closed her eyes, waiting for the young man to join her in her drowsiness. She was on an emotional roller-coaster, sometimes going with the flow and sometimes panicking. It was all very confusing and she wished things were simple. It wouldn’t be as intense though, so maybe it was worth it.
William unwrapped his arms from around her and something in his heart dropped a little. All he wanted was to hold her, and be against her. He wasn't sure what it was, or if it could possibly be a force greater. There was an attraction, so intense that it was almost undeniable. He held onto her hand as he walked out, his other hand finding the keys to unlock the apartment door. He shut the door behind him, not waiting to move around the main living quarters. He nudged the bedroom door and stepped aside to let her in. Once she was in, he closed the door behind them..
He was kicking off his shoes when he saw her taking off his pants. This was a horrible idea, there was no way in hell he would deny this, or deny her. If she wanted him bad enough, and she pushed him, he'd completely and utterly break and give her exactly what they both wanted. He raised an eyebrow as she was tugging off his shirt. "Oh damn." he said helping her get it off. Suddenly, she was there almost naked. "Good god, you are going to freaking kill me." He said looking at her seriously. He turned away from her and he rubbed her face groaning loudly. "Oh jesus christ." he mumbled into his hands.
He moved and slipped into bed from the other slide, reaching over he turned the light off before, his hands reached out into the darkness and found her sides. He tugged her close and he let out a shaky breath. "I'm trying so hard to not be this guy." He said closing his eyes for a moment, and he scooted closer against her, bit on his lip and closed his eyes, turning to his side, facing her. "But, jesus you can't just strip in front of me and expect me to not be turned on. Like honestly, not fair." He said in a slightly dramatic voice. Suddenly, he wasn't tired. He was alive and he wanted her.
Will & Jackie | Late night calls
She was tired too, exhausted even, and when she saw his eyes closing, she felt guilty. It was a selfish move, to call someone in the middle of the night because you can’t sleep. If she could easily skip the classes she had in the morning after a sleepless night, not every could. She closed her eyes too, thinking about how crazy it was that she had to go through all of this to finally feel tired.
The elevator ding woke up her from her thoughts and they exited the building. It was still dark outside and even the cold air against her skin couldn’t really wake her up. She had left her appartment earlier without a jacket and she was now shivering. She took the cigarette he was handing her, desperate for a smoke. They were still holding hands, and that was probably the only thing keeping her awake right now. She exhaled the smoke and looked at him. She didn’t really know what to reply. She was confused about what she wanted, and she wished she could promise she will never call him again at two in the morning but that would probably be a lie. She would try though because when she looked at his sleep-deprived face, she thought he really didn’t deserve this. “What? Calling you in the middle of the night?” she laughed “probably not… I mean… I’ll try my best…” she added with a smirk on her face “You definitely need your beauty sleep”. She somehow found the force to make a joke to lighten up the mood.
She started to feel bad again when he said he had to work in the morning. He had already finished his shift early when they first met, she didn’t want him to lose his job because of her. “I didn’t realise.. I’m so sorry. We don’t have to go for breakfast…” she paused “We can go back and try to catch some sleep, even if it’s just for a couple of hours”. She sighed before adding “I mean, I can go home if you want, it’s not like I’m living too far away” she grinned. Going back to her home was the last thing she wanted to do, but after everything she had put him through tonight, if that’s what he wanted, she would have done it. She squeezed his hand, still shivering from both the cold and the triedness.
Will was at a stand still, he longed for his bed but the prospect of food made his stomach growl. He sighed gently squeezed her hand. Taking the cigarette back eagerly and he looked around. "A couple hours sound lovely...but." He paused tugging her closer, holding the cigarette away from the two of them as he kissed her lips gently. He still couldn't get over how lovely she tasted, and he was itching to taste more, but he wouldn't go there and the tiredness was overwhelming.
"You can come back and sleep with me...on one condition." He said, he had already started to pull his jacket off after giving her the cigarette. He draped it over her shoulders, he was walking back into the building, his bed was calling and he wanted to hold her. "This condition is, basically you're going to have to deal with me shirtless." He said simply smirking as he opened the front door and he pressed the button waiting for the elevator to return. "And you can't wear pants." He shrugged slightly, reaching up he tucked some of her hair behind her ear and he sighed. "Than, if you have food." He paused. "I'll cook for you when we wake up." He grinned slightly and walked into the elevator once it arrived, he pushed the button back to his apartment and he wrapped his arms around her pulling her close. He nuzzled his face into her neck sighing gently. "Than maybe we can stay in bed naked." He suggested, wondering if this was the tiredness and he didn't want to fight it. Or if his hormones were running wild.
Will & Jackie | Late night calls
They already had gone further than they should have and for a second under his lips and his hands, Jackie thought she had lost control of the situation and it felt so good. Her mind managed to gain back some control though and as Will was going to pull up her shirt she was able to put a stop to all if. As she watched the young man calm down, she could still feel his taste on her lips and the feeling of his hands all over her. All her body screamed for more but she shut it down, trying to breath slowly to go back to normal.
Her eyes closed at the kiss on his forehead and she stayed motionless while he was getting away from her grip. She let out a deep sigh, she felt drained, emotionally, from all that had happen. She hated herself, she was the one who kissed him first, she was the one constantly looking for his contact. She felt ashamed for letting herself be so vulnerable and did everything she could for not letting out the tears menacing to stream down her face.
She looked at the clock on the nightstand. It was still a bit early and it would have been wiser to catch some sleep. She approved the idea though because she couldn’t trust herself to just sleep next to him and she wasn’t really sure it was a good idea for her to go back to her place, alone. She shivered at the feel of his thumb against her lips and replied “Yeah.. the diner sounds fine”. She was okay with beers but being drunk wouldn’t be helpful and they needed to go somewhere public, so they could keep their hands to each other. She got up and went to look in the mirror. She was a mess. Her hair were all tangled and her lips were still bright red. She tried to fix her hair and her clothes, sighing again.
She was about to crumble, she knew it. That’s why she was staying away from meaningful relationship, it meant pressure, and she couldn’t handle pressure. She tried to put a genuine smile on her face, the last thing she needed was for Will to see her break. “Let’s go then” she said pushing him out of his room and the appartment. She pressed the button to call the elevator, once they got in, Jackie felt like it was awkward between them and she hated it. She decided to grab his hand, hoping this wasn’t breaking a rule and sighed, again.
William breathed as she agreed to the idea. He was tired as hell, and he could see himself falling asleep in a stack of pancakes. Once she slid out of the bed he pulled shoes on and grabbed his jacket pulling it on. He was never really one to go out in sweat pants but it was okay. He didn't care, it was in the middle of the night soon to be dawn. He frowned thinking that he had to work in a few hours. He sighed rubbing his eyes leaning against the wall waiting for her to come out of the bathroom.
Once she reemerged he wasn't able to say anything. She had tried to fix her appearance. "Hey, you look wonderful. Don't worry about it." He said hoping it was able to calm her down a little. He didn't know if some people had an anxiety about it but he wasn't about to let it consume her, in front of him. He had no way of stopping it though, and it made him sad, and disappointed in mostly himself.
Once they were in the elevator he leaned back against the wall, letting his eyes clothes for a moment. He was tired, to tired maybe. "I'm sorry I'm tired." He yawned as he reached over, at the same time she did and he grabbed her hand. He moved over a little closer smiling gently as they waited for the elevator to take them down to the floor level. He'd never been more excited for an elevator ding, one it meant that he could move, so he'd stay awake. Hopefully.
He walked outside of the apartment and fished into his jacket pocket finding his pack of cigarettes. He lit one and took a long drag as they walked. He handed the cigarette to her smiling softly. "So, is this going to become a normal thing?" William asked not really sure what to think if it was going to pay off in the long run. "Because I have to work in like two hours, and I don't think I'll make it." He said honestly.
