The Blueprint

I saw a question today asking, “Why do men like big women? Is it a fetish?” And it made me shake my head, because for me, it’s not that deep and it damn sure ain’t a fetish. It’s preference. It’s love. It’s the way my spirit recognizes beauty.

I’ve always been drawn to big, beautiful women—their presence, their softness, their power, the way they hold space without shrinking. Women like Pam Grier, Jill Scott, and the late Phyllis Hyman shaped my entire idea of what beauty looks like. Their curves, their confidence, their magic… that’s what I’ve always gravitated toward.

Big women aren’t a category. They’re a standard. They’re the blueprint.
