Headcanon - Out of the three, Rumi is the worst at English simply because she was never really taught it. She was taught basic phrases and learns more as she interacts more with Zoey and Mira. However, when the three head to America for the first time her English still isn’t great and this becomes an issue when they do an interview. The interviewers keep asking them all questions and Rumi keeps asking Mira and Zoey what different words means. For the final question, the interviewer asked Rumi how she felt about the rumors that she, Zoey and Mira were dating. Rumi goes to Zoey to ask what he's saying and Zoey says "He's asking you how you feel about the US" and Rumi responds with, "Oh, it's great! Absolutely perfect!"

problem with tv shows today is i think a lot of them want to be movies. 90 minute episodes with full cgi and a plot so streamlined theres no time for filler is not a tv show to me. tv shows need a low budget so they can afford to send the characters on weird detours to flesh out the universe. its healthy. its good for the ecosystem. you need a show wiki writers and tv tropes cataloguers can sink their teeth into.
