Untangle vs. Barracuda

Just downloaded the VMware Image for Untangle's Virtual NG Firewall. It's extremely light, running in at about 1.3GB and was a breeze to setup in VMware Workstation for me to play with.

My only other experience with Content Filters are with Barracuda's Hardware Appliance and Meraki. I reached out to the k12sysadmin Sub-Reddit this morning for other opinions and it was a pretty mixed bag.  I'm really looking for something that will let me get extremely granular with reporting as I plan on linking it to Active Directory.
