Willow and Aspen are holland lop rabbits born in March 2024
Stella is a chinchilla born in 2020
Snowflake is a chihuahua born in October 2013
Nebula is a veiltail betta fish born in 2025
Tiger and Cinder are our cats who showed up as strays that we take care of! Tiger is estimated to be born in spring 2024, and Cinder in fall 2024.

I got Willow and Aspen as young rabbits off Craigslist on May 18, 2024, originally being told they were girls. However, as they were under the age of 10 weeks, their testes hadn't shown yet. Yep, in November of 2024 I found out I have two boys!
I got Stella off Craigslist on January 14th, 2025. The previous owner got another chinchilla and attempted to bond it with her, but the bond failed and they ended up not being able to keep her. I've always wanted one and I ended up seeing the ad at the right time, so now she's mine!
Snowflake was a gift from a lady my mom worked for. I loved the movie Beverly Hills Chihuahua growing up and wanted a chihuahua just like Chloe desparately. The lady my mom worked for knew a breeder and gave her to me as a puppy in December of 2013.
I got Nebula from a pet store on July 19th, 2025. I had wanted a betta ever since I was 15, and I finally had the space to get one, so I just went for it!
As for the cats, they showed up in September 2025. We can't have them inside due to my rabbits, but we feed and water them and bought them a cathouse that they sleep in! (Please do not shame me for them being outside cats. They stalk the rabbits every time they come in, we can only have them in with heavy supervision. They are neutered, vaccinated, and treated for fleas and ticks on schedule.)
they're understandably shy right now after making their long journey, but i stocked up on fresh fruits and veggies today for them!! they're alive, which is what matters most!! i haven't decided who is who yet, but i have plenty of time to do so :)
got the finishing touches today! and the little guys come in tuesday <3 i'm so excited, i'm gonna pick up some fresh veggies tomorrow to feed them as soon as they get home. they're currently making a 1500 mile journey from washington to oklahoma, so i know they'll be stressed. but i'm really hoping they'll enjoy their new home.
amazon is a ripoff dawg, tell me why walmart had to cancel my 5 dollar 44lb bag of sandbox sand order for the hermies, so i had to go with amazon and i chose "real natural sifted play sand". then it arrives and its a tiny box with three small bags of kinetic sand 😭😭😭 NOT as advertised, bro. and i can't return it because i opened one 😭
i ordered sand AGAIN from walmart and it got canceled AGAIN. whyyyy 😭 so i went with delivery from a different walmart store further away and i'm hoping they'll fulfill the order. i even gave a good tip to entice someone to drive all the way here. pls dont cancel it again 😭

everyone who has rabbits and has rugs/carpets around your rabbits, you NEEEED to buy one of these scrapers. you will be both amazed and horrified.

you wanna see how much bunny hair i just raked off of their rug? keep in mind, i vacuum a few times a week.
YUCK!!! they've been LIVING with that! i could make a new small bunny out of all that hair. im gonna have to make this a regular part of the cleaning routine because WOW.
anyways, buy one of those copper rug scrapers for your bunny area! you will be glad you did.
hermit crabs and what should be everything they need - ordered! my wallet says ouch (it was more expensive than my original math told me) but my heart is happy :)
i don't know if i'm totally serious about it yet, so no promises, but i mayyyy be getting some hermit crabs soon 🤫 i had them when i was little, and as one may expect from a little kid in the 2000's, the care was subpar, but i'm doing a lot of research into how to properly keep them and may be ordering everything when i get paid in a few days! still gotta ask my mom lol.
