I'd like to say I'm a multifandom artist, but as you can see, it's mostly Zelda here. I'll occasionally post about other things, but 95% of the time, it'll be Zelda.
I am very, VERY OC heavy, and I love OC content. Most of my content involves them. I love rambling, and I love doodling.
My art style is inconsistent, and I love trying new techniques, so my bad if things seem different all the time.

TW: Threats, choking mentioned, that's it
_Understood_
“Do you see her?”
Huddled among the red rock of the canyon, the three adventurers peered over in a sequential order. The setting sun only made the shadowed area that much harder to navigate, especially if they were looking for red hair against it.
“Nothing yet,” a black-haired girl stated in a whisper, shushing down her two companions. “But she said it’s rough in there. It might be a bit more.”
“Rutana, are you sure this is the right spot?” A short-haired woman sighed, crossing her arms. “It’s going to be dark soon. Not to mention, cold. Very cold.”
“Aria said they dragged them in there,” Rutana hissed quietly, turning toward the speaker. “She wouldn’t lie about that, and you of all of us should know that, Krigia. The Link here hasn’t gotten back to her in hours, she wouldn’t just ignore that.”
While the one Rutana spoke to sighed, the final of the three shook her head, worry pulling at her lips.
“I only pray Father is alright.”
Her voice was just as hushed, if not more so. Normally she was confident and sure of what she wanted. But within the day, her father, her inspiration, had been dragged off by a strange red Sheikah(?) soldier nearly twice his own height. And by his cherished scarf, just to add insult to injury, choking him until his face turned blue. She could still hear her father’s voice, demanding she flee as to not get herself into danger. She could still smell the scent of the smoke he vanished into just moments after she witnessed him lose consciousness.
“‘M worried, too,” Rutana admitted beneath her breath, looking down toward her chest. There hung a long, beautiful butterfly necklace; a Joy Pendant. The last thing that remained from when she watched her young Sailor at sickle-point be carried off, the threat of his throat being ripped apart present the entire time his captor fled with him.
She could still see the mix of rage, confusion, and pure terror on his face. Like a mask on her eyes she couldn’t remove. She reached up and held it in her palm, as gently as she could. It wasn’t hers, after all. It was her friend’s– her brother’s.
Her fingers were quick to tighten, all three of them tensing as they heard someone– Or something approach.
A whistle.
A simple, eight-noted tune.
The signal.
In unison, the three mimicked the sound. And soon enough, climbing up the jagged cliff, a redheaded girl with green eyes and freckles rolled beside them. Her face had a small bruise near her jaw, and a light scrape brushed her forehead. She held up her hand for a pause before the group could reply.
One second.
Two.
Three.
Nothing. She wasn’t followed.
“I think we’re clear. Rutana? Krigia? Farola?”
“‘ere.”
“Yep.”
“We’re all accounted for.”
They gave a collective sigh, Krigia turning to face the newcomer. She spoke first.
“Did you find them?”
“Not yet, but I think I have an idea.”
Digging in a bag at her hip, Aria rolled out a large piece of parchment in between the group, doing her best to angle it with the little light they still had. The lines on it were frantic, yet clearly planned out. Jagged paths that twisted around certain points. The subtle silhouette of rooms, rounded by circles and question marks. Arrows sketched looping around strange points in the middle of certain boxes. Nowhere near a fabulous piece of work, but it would do the job.
“Okay, so,” Aria began, first pointing to a spot near the bottom of the page. “The Yiga hid the entrance behind a tapestry. It could be caught on fire–”
“Please tell me you didn’t,” Farola begged, well aware of Aria’s trigger-happy nature.
“While it took all of my willpower, the tapestry was spared,” Aria promised, going back to the page. Her finger traced along the spaces as she brought them up, the three following intently. “Anyway, there’s one that patrols here. And there’s about four or five here. The last room has two near the entrance, one blocking an opposing door, and another two on the opposite side of the room.”
“And did you find my father?” Farola asked, looking desperately over the paper.
“What about Wind?” Rutana added on, keeping an eye on the room placement. “Did you find their cells?”
“Sorry, I didn’t see anyone. Not even Link,” Aria admitted pitifully. “But… I did hear some things. Close to that last room with the guards. Some soldiers were gossiping about… Some way to bring back their master? And one of them knows something about… Time?”
“Time? Like, the concept?” Krigia asked, an eyebrow arched. “Can they not read a sunset?”
“I don’t know what they were talking about, but I doubt it’s good. The Link here is very resourceful, and from what I understand, the Captain and Sailor also cheated time.”
The blue eyes of Rutana narrowed, a scoff leaving her lips. “So they want to try to use ‘im to bring back their cap’ain, ay?”
Farola’s heart sank, her ears drooping as a hand came up to her chest. “We can’t let that happen!”
“I know, I know,” Aria assured, shoving the page toward the worried princess. “That’s what we’re trying to stop. So, what do you think we should do, your Highness?”
Realizing her pre-chosen roll, Farola took the sheet to look over. Her volunteer team waited in silence, though a tense one, as she gathered her thoughts. Moments of shoving her worries aside for strategy later, and she cleared her throat.
“Okay,” She started, her tone more steady as she flipped the sheet to the group. “Here’s what we’ll do.”
She gestured to the lines themselves, dictating the hideout’s walls. “Aria, you managed to sneak in this far without being spotted. You said they had walkways above the floors, correct?”
“Yup,” Aria confirmed with a quick nod. “At least starting in the second room. But the first, as I said, only has that one guard. We should be okay, I think.”
“Understood,” She hummed back. “In that case, it would be better for you to do the same. Krigia can go with you.”
“Why me?” Krigia asked. She wasn’t opposed, she just wasn’t used to this kind of stealth.
“Because between you and Aria, you can do the heavier damage,” Farola explained pointedly, gesturing to the blade the shorter woman carried. “But you’ll need Aria as your guide.”
Aria grinned, “An escort and bodyguard? Sounds fun.”
Allowing the smallest of smiles, Farola then pointed to the inner portions of the lines. “Rutana and I will sneak from the ground-level. I’m more agile, but Rutana has really good sleight-of-hand. She can hopefully steal any leftover weaponry or arrows we find as we go, to keep them less armed.”
“Why don’t we all just sneak in Aria’s way?” Rutana asked, adjusting herself to a kneel. “That’s the whole point of getting in, ain’t it?”
“It’s a diversion tactic, as well as stealth.” Farola gestured to the two designated sneakers. “If one set of us gets spotted, it’s possible backup will be called. We’ll have ground both above and below, giving at least two of us a good opportunity to progress if one group gets caught.”
Aria seemed to grow nervous, in which Krigia responded with a back-pat.
“If one gets caught. They’ll have to get through me, don’t you worry.”
Her confidence was growing, a prideful smile graced by the sunset as her hands were on her hips. That made Aria chuckle.
“Aria will lead the way,” Farola continued, “And we’ll watch from above. I’ll be the guide while Rutana watches over us for spies. Lead us to that last guarded room, and we’ll go from there.”
Aria nodded, standing again with fists bumped and ready. “Count on me! I even have the perfect escape plan.”
“Save it for when we find the boys,” Krigia asked as she stood, nudging her friend with her elbow once she stood.
Rutana and Farola followed suit, and the four walked down from their hiding spot.
The area was oddly calm now, the sun finally set among the Valley. The chill of night was quick to consume the normally blazing sand, which stood still under the night sky. Aria was careful in her steps, making sure to follow the same path on the cliffs she took to arrive in the first place. Statues decorated with that upside-down eye cluttered their trail, leaving each of them with a sense of disdain and need for justice. Steps were cautious, and no words were exchanged after.
Finally, they arrived inside.
A circular room with a lone torch burning on an elevated land formation. Surrounding them were identical tapestries, red with fire and eye embroidery. The room was tall, almost tower-like in shape. They took a look around for spies as Aria stepped forward, pointing toward a particular tapestry.
Farola was the first to approach. She slowly got to the ground and peaked underneath the cloth. The subtle flickering of torch light faded in and out of view, obscured by a wall to the right. It must be the first guard.
She raised her head and knelt, turning to the group. She began to do signals, signs with her hands she had seen her father use over and over again.
Stick to the plan. Two above. Two below.
She lifted the tapestry by the corner, nodding toward the entrance. The remaining three looked between each other, confused for a moment, then gave the leader faulty thumbs-ups. They only had minor training in this type of messaging, but they figure enough what had to happen.
Aria, of course, went in first. She slowly and quietly crawled through, her mind reeling with the amount of Bomb Arrows she had only purchased yesterday. This place would light up by the time she left, especially if anything happened to those they were seeking.
‘I need to blow everything up.’
Krigia went next, careful not to bump neither Farola or Aria as she passed. Despite the sudden dimness of this area, she smirked, her fingers brandishing her cherished blade. Stealth, of course, was plan A. But she wouldn’t mind a plan B.
‘I will kill everyone here.’
Rutana followed, giving Farola a nod of thanks as she quietly shuffled past the two before her. Glancing toward the glowing and dimming torchlight, her eyes narrowed. She wanted to rush in, pin that Yiga to the ground and demand he take her to Wind. But she knew it would put them, her, and maybe even Wind himself, at risk.
‘I have to save him. As fast as possible.’
Farola, after one more deep breath and scan around the room, finally followed after her team. Slowly, subtly, she lowered the tapestry and let it hang for a time. She could feel her heart pounding at this point, slamming into her ears so hard she feared the Yiga could hear it. Creating a plan was one thing, but executing one is always another story.
Even still, she had a mission. They all did. Now of all times was not the place to falter.
‘Just hang on a bit longer, Father.’
And with one more look and collected nod, the quartet began their infiltration.
I like to think Farola -off the battle field and captain duties- has a hard time saying no to any of the girls in their little squad but especially Rutana
Sadly Farola’s older brother got all the suaveness so she just flounders most of the time hehe
