“I take on everyone I can get,” Win admitted, shrugging his shoulders. “This is just a pit stop for me. I’ve got to bank some money so I can do something different.” He didn’t hate his work at all, but it wasn’t something he was passionate about. “You need medication. It helps with anxiety. Just saying.”

Fuck no.” Seo cringed, soothing his terror with a gulp of hot coffee, head shaking even as he struggled to speak around his next bite. “No way, you won’t catch me in a tin cage with fifty other people not knowing who the hell is driving. Quit being a little bitch and give me a ride, alright. I’ll owe you one.” 

Win laughed; to be honest, he quite liked all of the people watched he could get in on a bus. “Mm, why are you a whore if you can’t deal with filthy people? Besides, I don’t have a ride to give you... that’s why I said take the bus with me. I sold my car a long time ago to save money.”

“You,” Win replied pointedly, smirking. “See, if you took public transportation like the rest of us plebs, you wouldn’t have this problem. Take the bus with me. It’ll be a fun adventure for you to mingle with the common folk.”

“Seems fair.” Morgan playfully rolled her eyes even though she knew Win wouldn’t be able to see. She could feel her muscles starting to relax, but she couldn’t make things too easy for Win now, could she? “Mm… a little. You’re not too bad.” Her smirk was hidden and she sighed quietly. “My shoulders and my neck, but I do have a knot down by my hips. Think you could take care of that?”

Win let out a soft chuckle, sliding his hands back down to her hips. His hands slipped forward, just underneath her so he could rub at her hipbones. “There...?” he asked, leaning in close enough that his breath ghosted across her back. “Or was there somewhere more specific?”

“Well, I’m much more of a tea drinker than a coffee drinker, so I tend to order green tea if I don’t specifically need a lot of caffeine. But this place also has an excellent raspberry danish which I might need to treat myself to.” The cafe luckily wasn’t particularly far away so they would be there before long. Thank goodness. 

“I’ll have to give the danish a try. My blood is about fifty percent caffeine though, so I’ll have to treat myself to an Americano for sure.” Once they reached the cafe, Win directed the submissive to the nearest seat, making sure she was settled before taking the one across from her. “There. Now we can just chill out for a while. It’s nice and quiet here...”

“Very funny.” Seo chuckled taking a seat in front of the other man, coffee in tow and a chocolate croissant that he hadn’t been able to resist in other. “Missed me that much did you? Well, I’m here now.” He winked. “Speaking of being late, I might need you to give me a lift home after this.”  

“Why?” Win asked, as if there was a chance he’d say no. But he was nosy and he never liked taking it easy on Seo. “Attending some kind of party I don’t know about? Or just going to be too tired? You need to find ways to improve your stamina, old man.”

Win glanced up when he heard the coffee shop’s door open. His lips curved into a small smile as Seo went to the counter to first place his order. When the other dom did make his way to the table he’d reserved, Win raised his coffee cup in greeting.

“Took you long enough,” he commented, bringing the cup to his lips for a quick sip. “I was beginning to wonder if you got lost trying to leave the hotel.”

“A horror shop? Really?” Toy asked, eyes and smile wide. “That sounds so cool. Not many people would think to do something like that, but everyone would love a spooky scary shop. Now that I know this about you, I’m going to need to know what horror movies I need to be watching. I haven’t watched too many.” 

“Mm your hopes have to be up a little bit, right? Especially if you’re looking at properties, even in a dreamy kind of way. One day, the timing is going to be exactly right and you’ll find exactly the right building. And then I’ll buy lots of cool, creepy things from you.” Toy grinned. “A deli sounds good. Lead the way.” 

“Yeah, I’ll definitely give you a few recommendations,” Win offered, nodding at the sub. He smiled, wondering if he was the type to watch them without any problems. “Mm, I hope you’re right about that. Really. I look forward to you buying some creepy things from me.”

He chuckled and started toward the deli with Toy. “What about you? Was the timing right when you came to Vannes?”

“The deluxe package? Hmm… What all does that include?” She laughed quietly and tried to prepare herself for cool oil. Lucky for her, Win did warm it up some before starting to rub her back. As he started to work she relaxed and even let out a content sigh. She wasn’t surprised that he was good at this.

“As long as it feels good in the end I don’t care what you do. I’m just here for the ride,” she said with another quiet laugh. She could take quite a bit and wouldn’t complain no matter what he threw at her.

“Warm oil,” Win replied with a laugh. He focused his hands on her lower back, taking him time to work out the knots there. “Well, the point is for you to relax, isn’t it? Are you feeling relaxed?” His thumbs dug a littler deeper as he worked her lower back. And then, he backed off, sliding his hands back up toward her shoulders to give her lower back a small break. “Where do you feel most tense...”

Gratefully, and a little bit ashamed of how much she could use it, she took Win’s arm as they headed down. It helped a little bit that it seemed like she could provide a decent excuse for him to take some time to himself. “It’s nice to meet you Win. Conventions are bad at the best of times, so I could understand. My name is Adelaide.”

“It’s nice to meet you Adelaide.” Win gave her a reassuring smile and started slowly walking with her once she was ready. He’d be lying if he said he wasn’t curious about what had her so weakened. But it wasn’t his business and he knew how irritable answering questions about his own illness made him feel. “What do you normally order there?” he asked instead, wanting to keep the conversation nice and easy. “I’m always up for a new suggestion.”
