Ok, at this present moment I’m actually more worked up about Dean’s reaction at the end. He has to process everything Castiel just told him. The whole confession. Not just the “I love you” but all the praise Cas heaped onto him, that Cas died - happily sacrificed himself - just to save Dean’s life, and…. AND the fact that Dean is Castiel’s “true happiness.” And the fact that Cas is gone forever so he can’t ever tell Cas what all that means to him. This is just devastating.

(Of course, I’m hoping Cas isn’t actually gone forever and if the show doesn’t fix that, I will write fic about it until I die)
