They have clothes now! I've been wanting to draw them like this for a while now, but it was kinda intimidating because I'm terrible at designing outfits, but then I had the idea of Yellow in a pilot jacket thing and that kicked it off :D

Mitsi!
I'm so proud of this :D
Orange got traumatized
Idk what did it, but here he is awakened for you XD
He is a bit too expressive though for my liking in this, though. My interpretation is that when Orange gets awakened he becomes completely idle, as if it's JUST his powers and limbs working, nothing else. The way he's animated in the showdown makes it look like he's not even concious or thinking. He's just a mindless robot. I'll probably draw him awakened for real at some point
I broke out the tablet and computer... I really like the scetchyness to it that I can't really replicate on just a phone. When drawing on a phone I tend to overfocus on making everything neat and perfect.
the real reason why i hope the dark lord from animation vs animator gets a redemption arc is because i completely think that he cannot be blamed for how things went
more under the cut
Purple, the Valkyrie Queen
She is fabulous. I freakin' LOVE how Alan saw the fandom drawing her with angel wings and was like, "Heck yeah!!"
I used to interpret her as a boy, but honestly I don't even know anymore XD
Do sticks even have genders??? Probably not.
Decided to sketch this moment in the Showdown (:
Just randomly thought of this parallel
evidence that TDL was just showing off when fighting Victim
Going out of her way to destroy Victim's obstacles
2. celebrating mid battle (honestly just reminds me of when she was fighting the pigmen in beta)
3. not taking any of this seriously. straight up blocks victim's sword with her hand when snuck up on and takes no damage
4. beanbag + evil fade to black
5. hella parkour
TDL is fighting purely to tire Victim out, she can kill him any time she wants, but holds out just to see if he will change his mind. She thinks he's just having a tantrum. So what if your insignificant friend doesn't work anymore? I'm clearly so much better!
This fight is just a show of her power! Trying to convince Victim to join her because she's awesome!!
Poor Victim's just fighting for his life. There's a point when the battle becomes him engaging TDL, and TDL attacking him. In comparison to TDL he's precise, leaving no room for flair or (dare I say) bedazzlement. He also kinda sucks fighting-wise. Resorts to old habits, with the added weakness of trying not to destroy Mitsi's facility
Also a great time to point out how Victim fights with his environment while TDL fights with people/objects she can control :3
Got my hands on some paint markers and decided to draw Blue :D
I kept imagining these fuzzy pink armwarmers for some reason XD
(Spoilers for ava 13 beware!!)
I've been thinking about TDL lately. It seems so sad to me. His whole life's purpose was to destroy. I really think that mission has GOT to be important later, especially if they bothered to put it in Victim's scan of him and also use it for TDL's mind control. What's always interesting to me is how TDL only seems to be reveling in his destruction when doing it with a friend, the only exception being in AvM ep 0 in the Nether. I can't help but feel like deep down TDL does want a friend and feels hurt by TCO's "betreyal."
Their dynamic is cool. TDL doesn't seem to understand friendship, meaning he's kinda sorta definetely absolutely a terrible friend. He's got some stuff to learn if he's ever gonna be redeemed. But I do think he does want friendship. Why else would he have given Victim a second chance? He could've just killed him right there and gotten a perfectly obedient minion, but he wanted to have someone real.
It's that mission. I think that's the problem. When TDL teamed up with TCO, I think that it projected the "destroy" part onto everything else. So what happens when we get rid of that darned mission once and for all? Will TDL stop trying to wreck things entirely? I believe he is a chaos lover at heart, but the horrible violence came from the mission.
I think that Mitsi is gonna help the color gang, and maybe they'll manage to free Victim. Victim will remember that scan and be kinda suspicious. Also the scan of Mitsi, with a similar mission to "obey The Dark Lord" Something along those lines. Obviously TDL is far too powerful to stop. Not with TSC. I think that the only way to stop him now is with that mission.
So how could this play into TDL's redemption arc? Well, the color gang are rediculously forgiving. Like, think about King Orange. He didn't even really explain much and they were like, "yeah you've obviously seen the error in your ways, have a good life!" Usually with villains like these, the color gang find out why the villain was doing what they were doing, and then forgive them and try to work it out. Think Influencer Arc, Animation vs. Arcade Games, Animation vs. Mario (if that's what it's called). If Mango Tango could be so easily forgiven for literally almost ending an entire world, I don't see why TDL can't be forgiven only for just killing the color gang at the showdown. All of his crimes are another story. This guy is HORRIBLE. But again, if that mission had an influence in it, I think the color gang are gonna give him some slack. If anyone will, it'll be TCO. I HAVE to see these two make up.
Any thoughts? I'm all ears!
Just a random idea I just had
Dude, this scene kills me. The way TSC barely registers his friends at the glass until they're already being dragged away? And that was only the FIRST time they used the machine. Alan and the team animated him so well, you can tell exactly what he's going through and imagine what it feels like
I tried to draw The Dark Lord :0
He's my favorite character and I get genuinely sad sometimes because of how slim the chances seem of him getting a redemption arc
