Alfred truly never felt like himself until he was in Papa Tony’s. The day just went on in a mindless haze until that lovely smell of fresh dough and burning ovens hit the spot. Once, it was enough to get his power activated. Thankfully, he was currently in the aftermath of a burst, and could find tranquillity in the little shop.
While he was momentarily occupied by an intriguing Buzzfeed article about socks, the voice made itself very known, right up his ear. He jumped with a small exclamation, before laughing. “Sorry! Ya scared me.”
Then came his understanding of the question. “Oh, man. Um-” For research purposes, bright eyes scanned the menu board quickly. “Well, it really just depends on your mood. If you’re feeling low, you can get something super cheesy. I usually get the Works.”
Ah, yes, the Works. Everything that made a pizza great. Peppers, pepperoni, sausage, onion and olives. Sure, each pie was almost a pound, but it didn’t matter.
When the man in front of him jumped, oddly startled, Feliciano had to hide a giggle behind his hand, a bit amused. “Hehe, no, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to frighten you!”
His gaze followed the other’s up to the menu, nodding as he was given suggestions. “Ooo, that sounds yummy! The Works, huh?” Squinting up at the menu, Feliciano did his best to make out everything that was on the delectable sounding pizza, mumbling each ingredient to himself.
“...Wow, that’s a lot, but it sounds really good! Ah... but I don’t know if I could eat even a small by myself!” Quickly, Feliciano became lost in concentration as he decided what to do. “Hmmm. I wanna try it... but I don’t want to waste food...”
