i think my favorite part about enjin is how much of a realist he is and how he doesn't use toxic positivity to encourage his younger peers

like i genuinely love how he gives it straight with the attitude," so what?" when he talks to zanka

like enjin doesnt blindly encourage zanka and tells him what he wants to hear, that he is a genius, but instead declares that its okay to be an average joe who has to work hard because that doesn't make you any less skilled nor of a person. hero/shonen stories often have the narrative that if you believe hard enough you can be who you want, and yes that is some what aligned with gachiakuta, the realistic factor and message that you don't need to be someone talented or gifted to be worthy is so refreshing

enjin's words come off as 'harsh' and 'discouraging' but they are always genuine words with certainty that his peers will be great in due time. he recognizes that these moments are supposes to be awful and hard, and that moments like these are extremely necessary for growth
