Pizza Pans: What’s the Big Deal? A very big deal, actually. Some of our pizza pans are over 35 years old – older than many of our loyal customers! The blackened, rough, well-seasoned surface delivers a beautiful golden, semi-charred crust that tastes as good as it looks. It takes approximately 6 months to season new pans before we use them…who knew?! Each year the pans get better and better – now you know.
