//Hhhhhhhnnnnnnn...

So I’ve been DESPERATELY trying to get back into RPing on here, but I’m having a really hard time with it. I’ve just been busy with my art over on my personal blog and other private RP things off of Tumblr, so my two RP blogs here have really been put on the backburner lately.

Now, I hate this because I LOVE Cyprin so much and I love having him as a muse, I just haven’t felt like doing anything on here nor my HTTYD blog. I’m not ready to throw the blogs on possible hiatus just yet, but I’m still going to be slow with these replies. -_-;

So at the moment, I’m thinking about starting fresh with my threads and just sticking to simple interactions/inbox interactions until I can really get the full drive again, or just REALLY crawl with my threads until I can pick up the pace once more.

What do you guys think, especially my thread partners?

Should I nuke my threads and just to casual/inbox interactions until I can work with this blog better so I can try to get into the swing of things again

or

Should I keep my threads going in order to keep the storylines, but be very slow with them while I work on getting my pace back?//

Lindar snorted at the snail crawling around on Cyprin’s hat and smiled at the offer.

“I would like that. Thanks.” He said, smiling warmly.

It would be quite nice to have some company out here, so he wasn’t completely alone out here, with all of the strange noises and the dark and his own imagination…he shivered at the thought, and instead took to taking advantage of the nice opportunity being presented.

“So, what do you do around here, if I may ask? Are you a plant or monster breeder too, or do you do your own thing?” He was just curious. One thing he found interesting about Beastmakers was their diversity in profession, even if he himself didn’t quite understand it.

Two of the snails began slowly crawling towards each other on his arm, bumping into each other with their little snouts. He chuckled as it appeared the snails were nuzzling each other.

“Aw. They’re kissing.” He said in a joking tone.

     “I’m one of the guardians of the old architecture in th’ swamps. My main job is to make sure ain’t nothing tryin’ to damage or trespass in areas they shouldn’t be at, ‘specially th’ gnorcs.”

The large dragon chuckled as he watched the snails bumped together and at Lindar’s comment. This dragon seemed pretty all right after getting dried off and out of the rain, and Cyprin enjoyed the humor after an aggravating event.

     “Life here in th’ swamp ain’t as gross and creepy as folks like to think. I think th’ swamplands have the most life in em’ in my own opinion.”

His eyes moved towards the jumping of a fish as it launched high into the air before plummeting back to the depths off in the nearby waters. The dragon was incredibly fond and proud of the world he called home, despite the area having a slight stigma against it. It was beautiful to him, and it was welcoming.

What's life like with the hatchlings, Cyprin?

     “Honestly, it’s pretty great. They have lotsa energy n’ they’re very outgoin’. The hatchlin’s are great ta cuddle n’ nap with, and swimmin’ lessons always are interestin’ too.”

     “I remember when I was a hatchlin’, myself. I...frankly wasn’t much more different than what I am now, but I have good memories of my childhood and I hope to give those same good memories to my own little gaters runnin’ ‘round.”

“Might have to take a leaf out of your book.” Perhaps he could make something similar to shield himself, his imagination sparking. Hannah had been tired enough that she laid down on the floor and it wasn’t long before she dozed off. Certainly the floor wasn’t the most comfortable of places but children could often sleep anywhere. “Must have tuckered her out… probably best we stop our search for today, don’t want to wear her down.” James murmured.

Cyprin settled into his usual spot near the fireplace, his eyes set on James as he silently watched the man. The tip of his tail flicked slightly, but the dragon took care as to not wake the smaller human.

     “I suppose I should go ahead and say what’s on my chest for now... I wanted to ask what was really up with you two. The odd movements ya make, the odd...feelin’ I get ‘round ya’ll? The whole situation with ya’ll here...I mean, I don’t wanna sound invasive or anything, but I need ta know th’ details so I can better handle Bruno ‘n th’ other’s if they catch wind of ya’ll. Especially Bruno.”

Cheyloe took cautious steps behind Cyprin, watching for any signs of deep mud or any animal tracks that didn’t belong to a dragon.  At least with the cold she didn’t have to worry about mosquitoes…right?  She stopped when she noticed a stick and carefully stepped over it.  Even a little twig snapping alerted dangerous animals…

“So…other dragons also lurk in the water for potential prey.  Good use of the environment,” she complimented, stuffing her hands in her pockets, “I haven’t done any real hunting since I was younger.  We usually have clothes to blend in with the trees, but we’ll also wear vests to alert other hunters that we’re not a bear or deer.”

She slightly shivered at the thought of another dragon coming up and dragging her to her death in the swamp water.  As long as she remained friendly, what could go wrong?  But she remained very close to Cyprin’s side, sometimes turning her head if she heard squeals of boars in the distance.

“Are any of the other dragons…you know…wary of humans?”

A distance look crossed the dragon’s face as he continued to lead through the thickness of the world, silence falling over him for a few moments before he finally spoke.

     “Yeah...most dragons are wary of humans...aggressive, actually. There are exceptions, but that’s just how it is. Sadly, it’s the Beast Makers that are some of the most human-wary dragons. Bruno...now it’s just best he doesn’t find out ‘bout you at all, kay?”

The reptile’s words were stern and peppered with worry. He thought about what the other dragons would say spotting the human, but none worried him as much as the world leader of the Beast Makers, Bruno. An aggressive, large, and frightening dragon towards those caught on his bad side.

How is your day living on Terrace Village? Are the gnorcs loud?

     “Th’ gnorcs aren’t much an issue, especially since I’m a heavy sleeper n’ it takes a lot to stir me up. That n’ they know better.

     As for Terrance Village, it’s nice and th’ views are amongst my favorites in all of Beast Makers. Due to it bein’ th’ older part of th’ swamp, it’s also a lil less populated, so that means that there ain’t as much traffic goin’ through it, and that’s just how I like it.”

“It depends on the area you wish to know about; the main area is usually more frigid than the Magic Crafters area.” 

It wasn’t just a bit colder, they were far into the skies, it was freezing up there, but, it was good his cafe wasn’t in that vicinity, it was indeed in a different area, far away, but, the Dream Weavers locations were often much worse than the Magic Crafters, but, this year had been the worst for them. 

“It doesn’t necessarily snow too much anywhere in our domain but, the temperature drops are worse than the Magic Crafters domain.”

He’d shiver slightly, although it wasn’t too bad here, it was still putting a bit of frost on his scales; oh how dearly they all needed Spring to arrive. Useni would sigh, at least the Peace Keepers had it easy, it didn’t even go below freezing there, at all, it had never done that once in his lifetime.

Cyprin couldn’t help but chuckle slightly.

     “Bruno hates th’ snow. Summer is his season and I frankly can’t blame em.  He’s always complainin’ about th’ snow n’ th’ cold and I couldn’t imagine what kind of tantrums he’d throw over how cold Dream Weavers got.”

The dragon lowered his head towards the ground before lighting it with a small burst of flame, melting any nearby snow and ice near instantly before situating himself over the temporarily warmed area. It wasn’t much, but a dragon had to use their flame for something in the chilly weather. Why waste it?

     “I had elders tell me before when I was just a youngin’ that I had th’ makin’s in bein’ in Dream Weavers. Not sure if they were just foolin’ with me or sincere, but it was a neat lil’ thought. I frankly can’t imagine me among th’ clouds, though.”

Toadly is wandering about Terrace Village, confused and lost. They'd heard about the Beast Maker swamplands, and wanted to see for themself, but this was way different than what they expected.

The hissing that began to pool in the air would have been thought to be that of an alligator’s if it didn’t sound so...massive. To anyone familiar with the area, they would have known that it was the tell-tell sign of one of the water-dwelling dragons that ruled over the area, but to anyone else, it was a predatory sound. The sound of one stepping where they shouldn’t have.

It wasn’t long before Cyprin revealed himself from top of his perch upon the stone architecture above the newcomer. The fact that he had made himself known showed his intentions of territorial aggression over active hunting. On all fours and with his narrowed, emerald eyes locked on the stranger, he released another loud hissing, but didn’t venture any closer. The dragons deep-blue wings were spread to only enlarge his frame more than what it already naturally was, but he didn’t seem ready to take flight down below to the other. Yet.

Though wordless, his features already spelled out that an explanation for the stranger's presence was wanted.

Dragons goin extinct or having difficulties could be Gnasty's fault, like letting the thieves enter the Dragon's lands or just some gnorcs fault. Sorry for my terrible english, I dont speak it :c
