Just curious, how is it any different then with people who ship Atsushi and Akutagawa? Atsu is 18, Aku is 20. People write smut of them all the time. Under other circumstances Atsu could have been in school. Or those that ship Dazai and Atsu? It's not very different and honestly if you think one is wrong, shouldn't you think all of them are wrong? ( I only say this because I am aware you have a bsd blog)

atsu was introduced as 18. since the start of the manga he has been introduced as 18. it’s shown as being stated in Bungo Stray Dogs Manga: Volume 2 that he was 18.

there isn’t the power imbalance of high schooler / university student. yes, they are the same ages as the other ship in question, but their circumstances are different. yes atsu COULD have been in school, but he isn’t and never was stated to be.

dazai is 22. atsu is 18. i don’t ship it personally so idk why you claim “you should think all of it is wrong” as an assumption since i’ve never written it myself as i have a dazai blog lmao. but regardless, again, none of them are in school settings. they’re same level ADA anyway. still don’t like the ship but it doesn’t hold the same circumstance as a fresh 18 year old and a university student.

the entirety of the thing is: neijire was freshly 18 and still in high school. let me ask you this ... do you think it would be okay to take one of the main students and right after they turn 18 ( while they’re still in school ) and immediately write them in nsfw situations? introduced as teenagers, but within the month they turn 18 it’s okay to write them in nsfw? think about a show like ... idk teen wolf when suddenly everyone was 18 and people on the dash were writing smut with these kids while they were in school. i wasn’t comfy with that either. perspective and circumstances, man.
