I had the pleasure of seeing Sylvia when I saw MCR perform in Boston, and I was DELIGHTED to see her new iteration for the South America tour. Naturally I had to do a companion piece to my original Sylvia drawing to commemorate her. Forever obsessed with the way this narrative builds from show to show.

I just realized I never shared these girls here! “Unit 666” and”The Anxiety Hen” aren’t the only set of characters I draw. Meet Helena and Eileen, my toxic rockstar yuri duo.

Helena is a washed up teen rock icon, who is known for her expert guitar skills and for breaking her manager/dad’s jaw in a fit of drunken rage. After not working for years, she finally receives an offer to come back on the scene as a guitarist in punk rock darling Eileen Ramirez’s tour. Trouble is, she hates everything Eileen stands for. Helena thinks she’s a sellout try hard, and Eileen’s thirst for success doesn’t do much to dispel that opinion. Will their conflict with each other ruin the tour, or will it turn into something much spicier?…

I’m still deciding if this is going to be a comic or a book, but expect drawings in the meantime!

Happy World Theater Day!!! I wanted to acknowledge it by reposting some of the theater themed art I’ve done. There’s definitely more (idk where my Book of Mormon fanart stash went, but it definitely exists), but you already understand that I’m a theater kid at heart lol.

HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY “UNIT 666”!!! One year ago today, I jumped back into the world of webcomics, and I’m so glad I did. Drawing these girls and their dog has been a gift, and I’m glad there’s some people out there who are happy to take the adventure with me. Thank you all for your support. It has truly been a fun ride.

Year one has definitely been a “feel things out and just vibe” year while I get back in the saddle. For year two, I’m hoping to see some more growth, both in terms of narrative and in viewership. I’d love to make a physical comic and maybe some stickers, apply to some cons, and see where things take me. Whatever happens though, these girls can promise more future shenanigans!!!

Okay look, the “Queen of the Damned” movie was bad, but the aesthetics and the music? And AKASHA????? A vibe, truly. If you ever wonder why I draw Rosemary eating hearts so much, it’s because of that one scene with Akasha. She is literally the blueprint. I had to pay her tribute. I cannot WAIT for “The Vampire Lestat” to drop and give me a new Akasha to fawn over.
