I'll post my emotional ramble under the read more, as well as some alternate versions of the drawing!

When Grian posted s7e76, announcing that he would be ending the season in episode 77, I immediately got to work on this drawing encapsulating every moment I adored from season 7. From the Mayoral Campaigns n the Turf War in the first half of the season to HCBBS and the Sewer Cats in the ladder half, this season is very near and dear to my heart as my first Hermitcraft season. I've watched every episode of Grian's s7, it's brought me endless joy, and has helped me through the later months of my school year. Now, I've known about Grian for a few years, I found him when looking for building tutorials, I didn't even see Hermitcraft as something I'd be remotely into because MC wasn't really something I spent my time thinking about.

But during 2020, my best friend @sm0nks and my loving zucc @shadesofvioletvoid made a little HC AU known as Crossing the Line. That AU peaked my interest in the series, most notably season 7. I decided to pocket s6 and binge s7 up to date, I caught up right before the Turf War ended. It was so fun to be able to watch new episodes as they came out, to keep up with this series, to meet such wonderful people because of this series. Hermitcraft helped me grow closer to another one of close friends, @rhapsoddity , and I've made new friends because of it too. I'm so glad I got into this series during season 7. It's brought me a lot of happiness in pretty depressing times, and I'm so glad to be a part of this fandom. Farewell season 7, here's to a wonderful season 8!!!
