I don’t want to be somebody saying “it’s not that deep” because that’s annoying, but I do want to say that there is a point where you are taking media too seriously. I’ve been taking a break from Genshin lately because I haven’t been liking the recent story direction. Everytime I played through a new quest all I felt was frustration and annoyance. And I feel so much better now that I’ve decided to step back. If a piece of media you love has been causing you a lot of strife lately, it might be time to put it down for a while. I’m not even saying to drop it forever, but letting it take up such a big space in your brain is not a healthy way to live.
