Winterhawk Round Robin 2.0?? Maybe??

Is anyone interested in doing a round robin in the style of the one run by @claraxbarton in early 2019? 

For those who are unfamiliar: 

A round robin is where you are assigned into small groups to co-write a fic. You have a prompt, but from there you take turns writing a certain amount of words (ie. 250-400 words) on your turn, and you all take turns writing until the fic is Done or hits a target length / number of turns. 

Co-writing can be stressful, but it can also be fun! This is a fairly low stakes way to discover if co-writing is something you enjoy or something you’d really rather never do again, lol. 

If you’re interested, please like this or reply to it in some way so I can gauge if it’s gonna be something informal or something I should run like a small event.

April Writer Check-In

It’s time for our first Writer Check-In!

It’s a very simple Google form - we are just getting a feel for where you are in your process, querying whether you need any specific Mod help, that sort of thing. It should only take a minute or two to fill in.

The Check-In will remain open to responses for a full week, so please make sure to get it completed by April 8th so that the Mod Team can address any issues that may have arisen since the start of the Bang, or get you any help you might need.

okay friends and foes!

In exactly one month it will be my 3rd anniversary of jumping into the Winterhawk fandom head first by doing art for @captn-sara-holmes in the WHBB, because that seems like the best way to dip your toes into fandom, yes? yes. I ended my days of lurking in the most explosive way possible!

In honor of this milestone, I’m going to raffle off a small fic!

Usually for milestone celebrations I like to take ficlet prompts and post responses, but I don’t have the mental creative capacity for that this year, plus I have other writing/school/work/life commitments, so instead I’m going to give away one short fic (<5k words) based on a prompt of the winner’s choosing! 

If you’d like to play, just submit an ask to my inbox indicating that you’d like to enter the raffle! Please don’t enter from multiple accounts, as that’s unfair, and obviously you can’t enter anonymously (if you don’t have a Tumblr and would like to enter, you can submit an anon ask with your contact information included).  If you enter from multiple accounts or in multiple ways, I will disqualify all your entries, so please just don’t.  This is meant to be fun and nice for me and you! Also, please be prepared to give me 2-3 short prompts to work with and your DNWs so that I can write you something nice! (I do reserve the right to refuse prompts which squick or trigger me, etc. etc.).

SURVEY TIME

Hi Winterhawklings!

We've created a survey to see how much interest there is in doing another Winterhawk Remix this year, when we should hold it, and also to assess if we need to make any changes to the set up from last year.

If you're at all interested in taking part, even if you're not sure if you can, please take the survey so we can get a good idea of what people are thinking and run the event at the time that suits the most people.

If you took part last year, there is also a section for you to give some feedback on last year's event. Don't worry, we won't take it personally. We'd like to know if there's anything we can do to improve the way this works.

Also, please reblog this if you can to make sure it's seen by as many people as possible!

We're going to leave this survey open for a week, so the last day for responses is the 26th March.
