I am seething...fuming even. 😤🫖
I don't know what they are trying to accomplish with Ozzy at this point.
After the surprise dumping I had high hopes for Casa Amor and the rest of the episodes. The premise of the MC being "gone" was set up really well with so much potential (honestly that was one of the best plot points of the last seasons - or dare I say: all seasons) and the fact that Ozzy confessed right before that would lead you to think that he finally made up his mind - except he didn't. He is still just as much of a cowardly people pleaser. 😒
A glimmer of uncertainty - a glimmer???? The man himself knows very well that he is not sticking with Grace out of pure consideration (to keep her safe) and because he genuinely cares for her. He probably does it to keep himself safe and because he doesn't know what else he could do.
There is no interest from his side, he doesn't think Grace is attractive and he made that abundantly clear to us. He is giving her false hope and feeding into her delusions.
Especially because he is probably going to pull the MC for another chat in next weeks volumes. Who knows when - maybe he is mad once he sees/is told that Grace kissed Hamish and tries to shoot his shot with the MC again. The exact thing happened before because of Elliot so it's likely to happen again, right? 🤷🏻♀️
My point is: If he isn't on the kitchen floor crying, begging the MC for forgiveness all while apologizing for his mistakes then what does he expect. 🤨 I have Ryan baking me a chocolate cake and Andy bringing me smoothies and pancakes??? Why would I then want someone who can't be the bare minimum: assertive and honest.
And we probably won't even have the option to hold him accountable for his actions or call him out - if we do it's probably going to be written over the top mean. (Which, tbh he kind of deserves but I still want my MC to seem like the bigger person here. 😭)
And a side note because no one even mentioned it in this weeks episodes: I bet the note that we got is from him. It's extremely in character - him not signing his name because he is too scared that it will get out and he really doesn't want to deal with the aftermath from that (aka Grace). The note could still a 100% have been revealed, even if MC actually left the show. She could have even told the public about it herself.
And, imagine this: Ozzy somehow won with Grace and the next day she finds out that he left our MC a love note basicially?? Yikes. That's definitely something I would be annoyed by.
But again, they're probably going to explain it as him being in such a hurry that he forgot, if it was him. Hopefully it depends and isn't automatically set. But for real, what isn't this season? Your choices really don't matter. 😭
