Greed sighed, “First thing’s first, do you have a car? But more importantly, where the fuck even are we?”
“Pffft. Why do we need a car when I got portals.” He snickered. “We are in a very heated California. Why would you ask? Don’t you live here or something???”
Greed paused, frowning a little, “Was the sass really necessary?” Sighing, he gave a dumbfounded expression, “I would like to call you up on that bullshit and return with a what the fuck. It’s supposed to be fucking winter in America during December! It feels more like the Australian heat than anything else!” He paused, “Of course bloody not. I’m wearing jeans with not even a short sleeved shirt. Not only that, I don’t even sound remotely America. Did you see me before just-” Greed sighed, “I’m from London, England. And if we were in California, the weather would be some what the same cause of our positioning to the sun this time of the year. You know. Cause it’s winter in the Northern Hemisphere.”
“I told you I can’t remember anything about you. And I’m not even from here. All I know is that Cali never snows.” He sighed and looked to Greed. “It must be some kind of year here that changes climate. It isn’t eve- wait did you say December?” Alex panicked and paced around in a circle. “Crap crap craaap. I forgot that Present Day is soon. What am I gunna do? I don’t have money!”
“No I mean like- You know what, never mind.” Letting out a short breath, he listened along, “I didn’t time travel or anything but- Ah yeah, it’s like nearing the end of December.” He paused as Alex started freaking out, “You mean Christmas? Ahhh… Make something if you have no money? Ahh…. Get a loan? Sorry I’m not much help or anything…”
He paused. “What’s Christmas?” Alex shook his head and kept walking. “Never mi- aHA” Alex looked to Greed with a smile. “Know anyone who can make some masks???”
“You don’t know what Christmas is?” As soon as Alex smiled at him, he took a slight step back, “W-W-What type of masks?”
" Like those masks you see in Bleach or something. If not then a medical mask. I can probably put a design on it." He bounced giddily.

Greed paused with a shrug, “First, get out of the heat, then I don’t know. Try and find some ice cream? I’m sure their’s at least one place that has ice cream rather than soup cream with a stick.”
"Hmm..." Alex squints and looks around. "We can always travel somewhere else other than this heated city. I suggest somewhere where they have not half melted ice cream and ice chips."
“Why is it hella hot? It’s November!” Alex mumbled under his breath. And he was right. It was hella hot. So hot that he felt like he was melting in public. Alex paced around the block so many he can’t even remember. Waiting for everyone to come back, he started to eat some leftover ice chips and drink the remains of the melted ice chips.
Against Techs intentions, Greed decided against staying another day locked up in the apartment and portaled somewhere a little less wet. But once he had arrived, he quickly regretted the decision. The blazing heat was absolutely horrible compared to the consistent cold climate of his new home, but the thought of another day locked inside made the heat seem a little better. Sighing, he spotted the only other person around. Decreasing the distance between them in no time at all, he awkwardly stood next to Alex. “Um, hey. Do you know where I could get an ice cream around here? Everything feels like it’s on fire.” He paused, “Wait…. Do I know you? You seem really familiar….” He quickly smiled at the realisation, “Wait! You’re Alex right? You used to come round to my place right? Um, you’re friend with Crim? I didn’t totally get this wrong and have been making a fool out of myself for the past few minutes right?” Quickly trying to make the situation a little better, Greed let out an awkward laugh.
Alex stopped and looked at the smaller male. “I’m pretty sure all of the ice cream shops would have been melted.” He pauses to listen to Greed and thinks.“Ummmmm…..” Alex sits on the floor and rests his head. He could never really remember names, but he could always remember faces. He looks up to Greed and smiles. “I am Alex. But who the heck is Crim? The only person who I remember is you, person I forgot the name of”
When he turned to look, he had to look up a little which was something he’d never really had to do, being 6'4’’. But that was besides the matter that was at hand. He sighed, feeling the heat starting to get him, “Fuck. That really sucks.” Letting his awkward laugh trail off as Alex tried to register Greed. Smiling a little when he didn’t get it wrong, “Well, he kinda looks like me but with um, what did his hair look like when we saw you last…. Ahhhhh…. Oh, his hair was blond and brown with the blond bit being kind of like a stylish mohawk. He used to have really pointy teeth, claw like nails and red eyes? Any of that sound familiar?” He let out another awkward laugh, “Oh um, I’m Greed, Tech and Crim are my brothers. Yeah.”
“Hmmm…” Alex had a familiar face. But some of it was a blur to him. He looked at Greed and tried to concentrate. “A… Little… I kinda remember.” Alex gets back up and shrugs. Once he finds out Greed’s name, he starts to walk away. “If you follow me, I know where to get a bag of ice chips. They have been my favorite thing ever in this part of the dimension.” He turns around and puts his hands behind his back. “Ooor. I’ll ask my sister if we can leave for a bit and go somewhere colder.”
“Ice chips? You mean just like frozen water chips?” He paused, how can broken ice taste so good? That really shouldn’t bother him at the minute, anything would be better than this fucking heat. “I really don’t mind. Though when you say ‘going somewhere cooler’, do you mean dimension jumping/something like that or literally driving somewhere. Just something I need to know…“
“Well I don’t know how to drive. But I never intended on leaving the dimension.” Alex sighed. He didn’t know where to go. Not only was a place he doesn’t know like the back of his hand, but he ran out of damn ice chips. The sun felt blistering hot against his skin. So he grabbed Greed’s hand and started to walk. “Once I get me ice chips, then I’ll figure out if I want to go somewhere completely different.”
“Hmmm… I know how to drive, if you have a car, I could-” He paused as Alex grabbed his hand, a little startled, “Ahhhhh, I can walk on my own you know?” He awkwardly shook the grasp away, “Sorry, it’s just too hot for holding hands.” He paused with a stop as Alex continued forward a little, “Wait, don’t I get a say on where we go as well?”
Alex was startled when Greed let go. He stopped and and turned around. "Yeah, sure." Alex closed the distance between the two. "What do you wanna do?"
