In a blood loss haze the once hopeful, young King ventured to the light where he found his mother waiting for him with pride in her eyes, and an easy smile on her face. The brightness of her overwhelmed him, he gravitated towards the safety of her arms but was met with darkness. There stood his sister. Dead only minutes before. A memory formed in his mind of a young woman dressed in red commanding the attention of the Great Hall, he held his hand out & she tentatively walked towards him into the lake. A shout that sounded more like a roar brought him out of his haze as the tempting bright light promising him peace and family faded. He was meant for more than just mere death, sleep took him and he watched his body drown from the other side. He would keep watch of the man guarding the lake until the time for him to wake came, trapped not alive but not quite dead.
