Who is their closest friend, and why? What do they like to do with this person? - Anne considers her closest friend to be Constance Bonacieux, a woman that she employed to be her personal messenger and confidante. She thinks of Constance as honourable and brave, with a kindness in her that Anne lacks so much in her life. She merely enjoys spending time with her, strolling in the gardens or sitting in the palace. As long as they get to talk, conversing like normal women, Anne feels content and happy. Do they have any rivals? Who and why? - Anne doesn't like to think that she does, although she did consider the Cardinal to be one when he was still living. His influence with the King was great, and the Queen knew that he could twist her husband around his little finger. This wasn't such a good thought, as she knew that he despised her as much as she did to him. Have they ever been betrayed? By who, and how did it affect them? - She considers her biggest betrayal to be the Cardinal's attempt on her life, as not only did it put her in fatal danger, but it lessened her trust in the world, wondering what his next moves were going to be towards her.

She also considers her husband's infidelity with Milady de Winter to be a betrayal, yet she knows that it is hypocritical of her to think so.

Do they, or have they in the past, had a mentor? What was their relationship with this person, and how has it changed since then? - Anne had mentors and tutors throughout her childhood, but the one that has made the biggest impact was the Comte de Rochefort. He was her mentor when she first arrived in France for her marriage, teaching her the ways of France and being a Queen, whilst also being her shoulder to cry on and dear friend. She still thinks of Rochefort as one of her closest friends, even after their years separated, and was delighted when he came back to the palace.  What sort of education have they had? Do they want more? - She was tutored from home as a child, getting a good education, which was extremely rare for a woman. She does not believe that she needs any more education, although she does like to learn more for the sake of learning.

Her intelligence was always seen as intimidating to her husband, and he spoke very badly of her University, but she stayed on until she gained her degree]. Who was their idol growing up? - Her mother. She admired Margaret of Austria greatly, seeing her as a beautiful and noble Queen, and such a caring mother. To this day, she still thinks admirably of her mother, hoping that she is even half as great as her in what she does.

Who was the first person they fantasized about? - Anne was never one for fantasies, thinking it disloyal to fantasise about any man other than her husband. However, she could not think of the King in that way, despite being married to him.

Where (and when) did they grow up? - Anne was born in Valladolid, Spain in 1606, in Benavente Palace. However, she spent the majority of her childhood growing up in the Royal Alcazar of Madrid.

How did they view it as a child, and did that change as they matured? - Spain has always been Anne's true home, and she adored it as a child. As she always loved the heat and sunshine, it was the perfect place to grow up, full of colour and adventures. Until the day that she left Spain, her thoughts on the place never changed.

How do they feel about the place now? - Anne has not visited Spain in many years, her childhood home now belonging to her brother and his wife. She remembers her home with fond nostalgia, all of it a distant memory, another lifetime ago.

Describe their best and worst memories from childhood. - Anne's fondest memory of her childhood is visiting a monastery when she was around six years old. Her parents had taken her, alongside her younger brother and infant sister. Although there were nurses and guards accompanying them, Anne remembers it as being merely a family outing, the beauty of the monastery something that has stayed with her throughout the years.

Her worst memory happened at age ten, with her father breaking the news that her mother had passed away during childbirth. Anne and her siblings had expected her to return from her chambers with a new brother or sister, but instead they were met with grief that never fully disappeared.

What were they like as a child? - Anne was always a good child, from the moment she was born. A happy little thing, who was content to lay in her mother's arms, or on a blanket in the gardens while her mother or nurse sat beside her. As she grew, and her siblings were born, she took on a much more maternal role, a real little lady. Of course, she still had moments of childhood bliss, running about and playing in the dirt. Yet those fancies ended on her wedding day.

What was their favorite toy? - A doll that her mother and father bought for her on her third birthday. She was a little wooden doll with painted features, and a white dress made just for her. Anne carried her around throughout childhood, and still has her placed on a chair in her bedchambers.

What is their family history like? How does it affect them? - Anne's royal heritage spans back generations, and she has known all about many of her ancestors from a young age. She has always known that her family tree is very important, on both her mother's and father's side. She wishes to carry on such a legacy, to be a Queen that her son will speak proudly of, the way that she does about her own parents.

How do they feel about their family? - Anne was always very close to her family growing up, having an unusually affectionate relationship with her mother, and looking up to her father greatly. As the eldest child, she took it upon herself to look out for her younger brothers and sisters, making sure that they were safe and happy. There was nobody she loved more in the world than her family.

How does their family feel about them? - As a child, her mother and father were extremely proud of Anne. She was a perfect example of a princess, diligent and dutiful, always doing as she was told, and taking everything in her stride. That's all she aims to improve. Do they speak more than one language? - She is fluent in English, French, Spanish, German, and Latin. What are some of your character’s more notable merits and flaws (including physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, etc.)? How did they develop? How has this helped or hindered them in the past? - Anne has been known as a woman of many remarkable qualities. She is intelligent, thoughtful, caring, and a great leader. Many people consider her to be a woman of great judgement, loved by so many that she meets. This has mainly derived from her relationship with her mother, Margaret of Austria, as she always looked up to her, wanting to be as great a Queen as her. Because of this, she took on many of her characteristics.

However, she is still human, and still a flawed individual. One of Anne's biggest flaws is her impulsiveness. She can dither over a subject for hours, yet sometimes she just makes split-second decisions. As a Queen, this is not the best quality to own, and has gotten her in more tough situations than she would like.

Then, there are qualities which are both notable merits and hideous flaws in one. Anne has a large heart, and will take pity on so many of those less fortunate. She wishes to help all that she can, giving money and food, or even just advice. She trusts very easily, which can put her in vulnerable situations. Her mothering nature has been evident since childhood, as she took on the maternal role over her siblings when their mother died.

"I do," she agreed, a small smile on her lips. Of course, she did not know him, not as a friend. He was a Musketeer, a man who had saved her life in the past, and was currently doing so at this moment.

Anne had been a visitor in King's Landing for only a day or so, coming on business with her husband and advisors. Her son, too, accompanied them, yet he remained with his nurses for the most part.

The heat reminded her of her childhood home, and so the Queen had wandered the gardens and outskirts, taking in the sunlight and breath-taking views with awe. However, when she saw a semi-familiar face sitting alone, she could not help her curiosity.

"My Lady?"

Eyes full of concern, she strolled closer to the younger girl.

"Are you well?"

Peaceful slumber had finally taken the woman, exhausted after such a day. Anne felt such guilt for dragging her into such a mess, and a slight smile turned her lips as she saw her chest rise and fall.

Turning to Aramis, her expression softened, wondering how it could be that their paths had crossed once again. Emilie resided not too far away, ruining any chances of a true reunion, but the Queen herself could not help the underlying hope that she would leave.

"You should be asleep too, Aramis."

How strange it felt to be out of the palace at last, being useful for once. It did feel odd not to have guards or ladies following a few paces behind, but Anne was optimistic. Constance was at her side, after all.

Where does your character live? - Palace of Versailles, Paris, France. [An old mansion in the suburbs of Paris].

Why did they choose it, and how did they acquire it? - She didn't choose it. Her betrothal to Louis meant that she had to move to France, whether she wanted to or not.

How do they handle intruders (graciously? violently?)? - Anne isn't the one who would handle intruders. Luckily, she has never been in a situation where she has had to react to such an event, but if she had to, she would call for help. She wouldn't be one to react violently.

Describe the space. - Her home has a rich, regal air to it, with large windows and spacious rooms to wander through. There are gold tones to almost every room, chandeliers hanging from ceilings, paintings hung upon each wall. In some rooms, there are paintings across the ceilings and walls, beautiful pictures with thousands of colours. Outside, the gardens are vast and full of greenery, flowers growing and fountains carved with intricate designs. Everybody who visits is in absolute awe.

Headaches and stomach aches and back aches. Anne had even experienced a nosebleed that morning. Bringing a child into the world was supposed to be a blessed experience, yet she could not help but wish that it was over.
