I was listening to loving machine by TV girl and it reminded me of caleb.

Okay imagine caleb passing away on a mission in the deepspace tunnel and leaving you grief stricken, absolutely shattered in the wake of his death. And clouded by grief, you order a robot and have it manufactured to look exactly like caleb, talk like him and even imitate his mannerisms and quirks because technology is js that advanced now.

It took time getting used to a robot version of caleb but gradually you realised that robot caleb could never ever replace caleb. He could never be caleb despite looking exactly like him, talking and acting like him. He couldn't make you feel seen, make you smile, make you laugh, make you happy. Robot caleb had no feelings, no beating heart and no soul. He was just a cold shell of circuits who could never be the amazing man you had grown to love deeply. He could never fill the hole in your heart caleb left behind nor could he soothe the ache and emptiness in your soul. He could never be caleb. He could never replace caleb, no one could replace caleb. And that realisation left you even more devastated than before. Robot caleb was just a machine, an empty loving machine. Robot caleb could never ever replace caleb but atleast he'll never leave (like the real caleb did).
