who here lives in pennsylvania. what is it like out there. what happens at night when it gets dark. tell me, transport me...

Lived in PA for five years. Not deep country, but the suburbs. Still was more wild than a lifelong city slicker was used to. Bats flit in the shadows between neighbors' yards. Deer stand at the edges of streetlights, watching traffic go by. Groundhogs creep out of the underbrush to eat rotting jack o' lanterns off people's porches. Swarms of fireflies in the summertime. Rabbits on the lawn. I miss it sometimes.

Crying forever
