a small psa:
roleplaying is not my top priority. as such, i will be very, very slow when it comes to replies.
i have a life outside of the rp scope. i am in college, looking for a job, and currently am taking care of an ailing parent as she preps for a major surgery. i also have professionally diagnosed mental illnesses that i am currently being treated for: social anxiety, generalized anxiety, bipolar disorder, and depression. not to mention i have very severe ADHD which contributes to memory issues as well. cut me some slack here.
these things drain me constantly, and frankly i don’t always have the energy to talk or write. not to mention the rp community is more or less very stressful for me at times, and it just serves to drive me off of my blogs for periods of time because i need a break.
there’s not excuse for getting angry and throwing a tantrum at me for not replying RIGHT AWAY. i know i’m slow, alright? there’s no need to rub it in. i do not have the time, nor should i have to put up with, people getting angry at me for being justifiably slow. i cannot afford to prioritize roleplay over real life at any given moment.
if this disagrees with you in any way, the issue lies with you, not me. personally speaking, i think it’s pretty damn awful to pressure someone into something that’s suppose to be fun.
i love this. it’s a hobby. but remember that to me, it’s just that: a hobby.
