I'm still running the Twitter but I've also wanted to promote Shirahama's other works for a long time, so expect to see more Shirahama stuff on here since there's no word limit on this site! As usual -> New Witch Hat Atelier chapter releases every 4th Thursday of each month, please support it from official sources if you can!

You can purchase JP raws from Comic Days and Magapoke. An English simultaneous publication (simulpub) has also been recently announced on K Manga, but it's limited to residents in US for now. Using a VPN works but I've heard that KM does not accept some (?) debit cards as they require a US-based billing address. Let's hope that KM expands internationally soon!

September events for Witch Hat Atelier

Two birthdays this month, with Riliphin's birthday on the 7th and Olruggio's birthday on the 20th!!

WHA Chapter 72 will be out 28 September, raws can be read on ComicDays and MagaPoke. The English official chapters can be read on K Manga.

** Do note that the previous chapter, Chapter 71 (English) was scheduled to be released on the same date as the raws, however due to a delay in draft process K Manga will be uploading Chapter 71 on August 31st. Still unsure if K Manga will be going by a different release schedule moving forward; however they have not announced any change as of now. I have reached out to them publicly but they have yet to respond.

Regarding the constant delays in the EN simulpub - I've tagged KManga directly on a Twitter thread and I do really hope that they respond.

For context - the "simulpub" has been delayed thrice with no further statements from KManga other than "a delay in draft process". So far, it seems that the team working on WHA is unable to keep up with a dateline, reasonably so (datelines suck), and we implore KManga to fix a better schedule for WHA instead of giving the fans false promises and overworking the team.

The EN team working on WHA are clearly passionate for the work - I wish I could say the same for the publisher.

I’m not too familiar with FGO but from what I can tell, it’s an event-exclusive card for the Servant Summer Festival! 2023 event. FGO Wiki lists this illustration as “Faerie Kingdom’s Summer Vacation”.

Shirahama Kamome highly recommends "Close to You" by Chiba Chitora

She also added, "Chiba Chitora has been a drawing assistant for Witch Hat Atelier since the beginning (...) The lines were simple, but they were full of emotion, which was great! The clothes are fashionable and cute! I really want a lot of people to read it 🌟"

Close to You is a multi-award winning one-shot published on Tonari no Young Jump. The story follows Miki, a fashion design student, and a model that wants Miki to make clothes for him. Miki fully immerses himself in the process, and while doing so reflects on his struggles and motivations of wanting to become a fashion designer.
