Okay so I’ve been thinking a lot about this and I’m going to take a temporary hiatus from Willow. It’s gotten to the point where I have to force her to finish our drafts and then I hate our responses. I’ll still pop on occasionally but for the most part I’ll either be on here or here. Once I get Willow to cooperate with me again then I’ll come back. Hopefully this doesn’t last as long as the very first hiatus I had did.

Willow listened intently. She was a potential? Wow. A smile crossed the redhead’s face before she stepped aside to let Sophie in.
“Sorry for being all suspicious of you and all. I’m Willow, Buffy’s best friend!”
“Not a problem,” Sophie assured, almost instinctively adopting the formal stance of her navy days, but she stopped herself just in time, instead settling for her arms resting across her chest as she stepped into the hallway of her home.
“Her best friend?” She asked, curious. So she was someone who had no direct part in this, someone who was just…here by association. Interesting…intriguing.
“It’s been a lot of years since anyone considered me a Potential,” There was naturally a cut-off point when the Council realised you were never going to be activated. It was nice how the men in charge lost immediate interest in a failed ‘investment’. “But I thought…if the world seems to be on the threat of ending, might as well as be in the right place to help somehow. My sources told me everyone was heading here. Even if I’m just one more body in the end”
Willow nodded. “Yep, I’m also a witch and I’m pretty sure that;s okay to tell you. I mean with you being a potential and all.” Willow frowned a moment. “Well honestly, we could use all the help we can get. Do you want coffee or something?”
Willow didn’t press Connor any further on that statement. He probably didn’t know the meaning himself. Still she motioned for him to join her on the couch, her aura taking on a more motherly tone.
“Like I said, all I know of Holtz is what Angel told me. I’m in no position to judge.” She sighed. “I’m not going to lie to you, Connor, everyone wants him to succeed in atoning for what he did as Angelus. And people tend to forget that Angelus is as much a part of him as Angel is.” She leaned forward slightly before continuing, “What they don’t understand is that you can’t be Angel. Because you’re you. And I mean I think all things considered, you turned out okay.”
Connor hesitated a moment before going over and taking a seat on the couch, leaving a bit more space than necessary. He didn’t like to be too close to anyone. People were unpredictable.
❝Yes, but why?❞ he scoffed impatiently, folding his arms across his chest and leaning back into the couch impatiently. ❝What makes Angelus any different from any other demon out there? Demons bring more harm to this world than good with their existence. Angel’s no different.❞
Willow paused for a moment. Damn, he sounded like Xander right now. But he did have a point. “You’re right, Angelus isn’t any different from the other demons. But think of it like this,” she reached over to the coffee table and grabbed a coin. “Angelus is just one side of the coin. Flip it over and you have Angel. The same person but also completely different. And you can’t have one without the other.”
Willow grinned widely before walking closer. “Good, I’m glad. I mean it would be awkward of you didn’t feel the same way right?” She couldn’t even begin to describe how relieved she felt.
Nodding, Tara found it near impossible not to smile back at Willow. Still firmly seated on her bed, she looked up at the red-head, blue eyes filled with something that could only be compared to affection. “R-Right…” She answered, still smiling all the while.
“So do you uh wanna go get some lunch or something?”

Willow grinned at Tara before softly kissing the top of her head. These moments were always her favorite. “Love you.”
Smiling at said kiss, Tara felt her way to Willow’s hand, before carefully and gently entwining their fingers together. Moments, minutes, hours like this made the rest of the day worth getting through. Knowing that she had someone who was just as much in love with her as she was, it was an incredible feeling she never wanted to end.
Willow smiled loving at Tara before pulling a blanket over them. “’M sleepy” she mumbled making sure Tara was comvortable
“Why thank you.” The Vigilante grins before starting to flip some switches and pressing a few buttons on the console. “You might want to hang on to something, just in case.”
“You’re welcome.” Willow grinned back and grabbed the nearest railing.
She pulled a lever as her ship shook and took off.
Willow hummed a bit as the ship traveled.
