Divination of Truth and Beauty Eye Cream

This recipe for enchanted, home-made eye cream is not just for softening your skin and making you look younger. No, it also helps you discern the truth of any situation. Simply prepare the eye cream and empower it with your intention, then use it nightly before you sleep. As you apply it to the bone ridge around your eye, meditate deeply on the truth you seek (slip some mugwort under your pillow for a little extra umph). Continue to ponder this as you fall asleep. In the morning, not only will your skin be softer, but the truth will be more clear.

Ingredients:

1 spoonful each of:

Red potato (grated)

Chamomile

Lavender

Calendula

Hibiscus

Rose Petals

Sage

3 Tablespoons each of:

Avocado Oil

Jojoba Oil

Argon Oil

1/3 cup of each:

Coconut Oil

Cocoa Butter

3 Drops each of:

Vitimin E Oil

Rose Hip Seed Oil

Rose Water

Cucumber Seed Oil

Lanolin

Infuse the potato and dried herbs in a warm bath of mixed avocado, jojoba, and argon oils for at least two hours. I like to put mine in a glass measuring cup resting in a pot of water on the stove on low heat, like a double boiler. Strain out the herbs and potato with cheesecloth and return the infused oil to the double boiler. Add the coconut oil and cocoa butter and heat on low until both are melted and combined. Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly before adding vitamin E oil, rose hip seed oil, rose water, cucumber seed oil, and lanolin. Stir this mixture until combined. Divide it all into jars and allow it to cool until hardened. Use as directed.
