“Dunno.” Answering her sire, the newly made vampire shrugged, "We never really got around to names.” Leaning into the redhead’s touch, she pouted, eventually turning to face the woman behind her. “She got blood on my shoes...”
Were she not already dead, Talia would have punished her for that. Made her bleed even more. She didn’t like when other people messed up her things. Though, given the state of the parlor, she had made a pretty big mess on her own.
//I can’t decide if the pink dress is Sarah being...well...Sarah (or some version of that EJ really shouldn’t see) or if it’s Talia when her gf dresses her.

“Mmmmhmmm. Well...that or they kidnap you and turn you into the living dead, but I’m willing to take that chance.” Besides, what were the chances that it would be the latter? Slim to none. Not like witches actually existed. Vampires, sure. Their Aunt Jackie was a vampire thanks to a run in between the Falsworth family and Dracula. But witches? Nah...

“To decorate with! We can put some on the middle of the dining room table...a few on the mantle...maybe on the coffee table. It’ll make the house look all decked out for Fall.” Annnnd the best thing about them was unlike some decorations that were intended more for Halloween or Thanksgiving...these encompassed both holidays and could just be left out the entire time.
And according to her mother, she was all Rogers. As the whole ‘actual Disney Princess’ thing did NOT come from the Barnes side.

//Every time we see the trailer for this movie @puniestbanner / @sonofthecaptain goes “Talia is that you?”. Talia feels very called out right now. But also this is very accurate.

“I didn’t know you liked Mystery, Ms Rogers” Azari said joking and chuckle. He looked at her surprised and with a small smile on his lips. “You mean the park?” he asked more excited this time. He nodded. “We can go to the ferris wheel if you aren’t too scared” he said teasing her with a hint of a smile.
"The park would be included in the boardwalk, yes” She returned his smile -- pleased that he seemed just as excited as she was to head out to the beach. Enjoy the lingering heat of summer. “I think I can manage the ferris wheel...provided you buy me an ice cream.”

Fast Times with the Rogers Fam || Steve & Sarah
Steve had come home from one mission and it seemed he was about to go on another. He missed downtime. He missed his wife and kids. To this end, he always did his best to spend as much time at home as possible with the three of them- even when the last thing he wanted to do was be conscious. Today was one of those days, seeing as he only now got back to New York. What better than to surprise Sarah? Talia, too, if he could find her.
His ability to hide and blend in was well-documented by Natasha and Sam. It was so good, in fact, that he sat in plain sight in the courtyard. It was very obviously him.
The girls, and their mother ( @abrooklynbrat ) would be the first to tell him that Natasha and Sam were just being kind. Or rather Bex and Talia would tell him that; Sarah not so much -- she didn’t have the heart to dash her father’s stealth dreams.
Coming out of one of the main classroom buildings that made up the Avengers Academy, she smiled when she saw him. Dropping her bag, she ran over, hugging him tightly. “Daddy! Mom said you weren’t coming home til tomorrow.” They were used to their parents being gone -- Steve with the Avengers and Bex with the Commandos. So it was always nice when they came home. Even better when they did so early.
“Does she know you’re back yet? Does Tal? We could probably find her. Or both of them. Tal, I know is with Isaac. Mom’s probably with Jack or Dugan.”
Azari just nodded and let out a laugh.. “I knew it. I knew that argue too much weren’t going to resolve and I’m already finish the new upgrade I did to the Panther suit so yeah wouldn’t need any argue too” he said with a small smile, grabbing his leather jacket. He chuckle once again hearing her babble. “That’s too many options but what do you suggest?” he asked with a smile on his looking at her. “So gonna keep a secret of where are we going?” he asked following her with a chuckle.
“At least until we get to the subway,” After that, it would become painfully obvious. Leading Azari out of the tower, she ushered him towards the closest Q line station -- Q line being the one that led directly to Coney Island.
“I thought...it’s still warmish out so we might as well enjoy the boardwalk while we can. Maybe share a funnel cake?”
Azari nodded. Gladly he was finishing the project so, yeah, he could do it later. “And what we’ll do on the city?” he asked letting the project in the desk table and adjusting his clothes. He knew he could be quite isolated when it comes to his projects. He made look like an nerd doing it. He knew he had to live sometimes. “You wouldn’t give me any other choice, would you?” he asked playfully and letting her lead the way.
“Nope. I would have pouted until the force of said pout wore you down and you had no other option but to comply.” She smirked back at him over her shoulder as she headed out of the lab.”And we can do whatever we want...grab food and chill in the park, go to the zoo. Wander about and tourist watch. See what’s playing at that super artsy theatre in the...no. Nevermind. I know what we’re doing.” It was the kind of spur-of-the-moment change of plans that usually came from Talia, but the twins...every once and a while...were more like one another than anyone gave them credit for. And right now...Sarah was struck with the most brilliant of brilliant ideas.
listen. there’s nothing “boring” about ships that are stable and built on mutual trust and respect. there can be angst and drama and all those juicy bits without the characters being absolutely abysmal to each other all the damn time
Azari was finishind doing a new project when he heard some knock on the door. “Come in” he said and look up to see who was walking on his lab. “Hey, you” he said seeing one of the twins walk in. “What can I do for you today?”.
"You can take a break and come into the city with me. Whatever you’re working on will still be there later tonight.” Sarah knew how Azari could be; if she didn’t make a concerted effort to drag him from his lab...well, it could be days before they saw him again. And while she loved his dedication and understood why he got so engrossed in his projects -- fresh air and socialization were important too.
So much so that she was fully prepared to pull out the pout if he tried to resist.
IMPORTANT HEADCANONS TO CONSIDER !
can they use chopsticks / Sarah: Yep; it’s a skill she develops overtime, given how often EJ is in Japan for SI business. Talia: She will say she does, but in reality, it just involves her dropping more food than not.
what do they do when they can’t sleep / Sarah: Depends. Clean. Bake. Read. Binge watch the British Bake Off on Netflix. It all depends on the stage of her life she’s in. Talia: Watch bad late night TV.
what would they impulse buy at the grocery store / Sarah: Baking supplies; her impulse buy would be her deciding to make white chocolate raspberry cheesecake on a whim. Talia: Mac and cheese and Oreos.
what order do they wash things in the shower / Sarah: Hair then everything else. Talia: Same.
what’s their coffee order / Sarah: She’s definitely more of a tea person -- plus her parents have always worried about her having too much caffeine. But she does indulge in the PSLs every fall. Talia: Salted caramel fraps. She is here for whatever has the most sugar.
what sort of apps would they have on their smartphone / Sarah: She definitely has all the normal apps -- facebook, twitter, instagram along with stuff like Netflix and Spotify. There’s also an app on there that connects to BAYMAX, the AI her boyfriend constructed for her meant to monitor her health and well being. Talia: All the social media apps, netflix, hulu, spotify...all the games. She is highly competitive when it comes to games and is very much one of those LEVEL145 SUCK IT people.
how do they act around children / Sarah: She loved kids. Being a mom is right up there on her list of goals -- and once she and EJ have kids, she does kind of become SuperMom. Even as a teenager, she is always wiling to baby-sit/play with whoever’s kids. Talia: Talia IS a child, just ask anyone. Which means she is the MOST fun when it comes to little kids...always with some sort of fun game she just made up.
what would they watch on tv when they’re bored and nothing they really like is on / Sarah: The Great British Bake Off is high on her list. Usually it’s that or Nailed It on the list when she can’t find anything else to watch. Talia: South Park. Bob’s Burgers. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Any stupid sitcom.

Halloween/Autumn Sentence Starters
I feel like I do one of these every year, but you know what? Always a good thing to revisit!
“Can you help me rake? I’ll let you jump in the leaf pile.” “I don’t usually do anything for Halloween.” “Let’s go for a walk. The trees are beautiful.” “Halloween is my favorite holiday and I never have any plans.” “I’ve got a collection of horror movies and pizza delivery on speed dial. Want to come over?” “I’m having a bonfire. You should join me.” “I love the smell of autumn.” “There’s a huge haunted house opening up this weekend. Want to go?” “A walk in the woods seems like a bad idea. Ever seen Blair Witch Project?” “What kind of candy should we get?” “I’m getting the chocolate for me, and the lollipops we can give to the kids.” “Ooh! A pumpkin patch! We have to stop.” “Do you want to check out that corn maze?” “I hate haunted houses. Why would I pay for someone to scream at me?” “Honestly, I’d rather see teens trick-or-treating than breaking windows and egging houses.” “What’s the use of putting peanut butter on a pinecone?” “I’m just passing out candy this year.” “I’m making some cocoa. Do you want some?” “Should we buy some patterns for our pumpkins or just wing it?” “Autumn is my favorite season.” “Don’t tell me you’ve never had a candy apple.” “This time of year is the best just for all the creepy shows on TV.” “Million dollar question: Nightmare Before Christmas or Hocus Pocus?” “Want to make an autumn wreath with me?” “If you carve a dick on this pumpkin, I swear to god.” “I’ve been waiting all year for sweater weather.” “Is it too cliche to visit a cemetery on Halloween?” “I wish I could put apple cider in a pick line and drink it forever.” “What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid?” “I got invited to a costume party. Do you want to come with me?” “Bobbing for apples is gross. Everyone’s nasty faces have been in there.” “Gourds are so ugly but also so cute. I want a thousand of them.” “I’m thinking of hosting a Halloween party this year.” “Trick-or-treating is for children. Let’s go cause some trouble.” “That hay ride was a lot scarier than I thought it would be.” “Painting pumpkins is cute, but it takes away all the fun of the guts.” “I’m in a baking mood. I hope you like cookies.” “I’m just not in the Halloween spirit yet.” “I want to decorate the yard big time this year.” “The scariest looking houses always give the best candy, it’s fact.” “My parents never used to let me do anything fun on Halloween.” “Want to hear a spooky story?” “Here, I knitted you something!” “Everyone is excited for Halloween, but I can’t wait to stuff my face on Thanksgiving.” “I think our house is haunted.” “A ouija board on Halloween: what could go wrong?”
