There’s a slight furrow of his brows as Liam studies Klaus, trying to figure out what’s going on. “Yeah. What’s up?”

Klaus looks back up and gasps softly, a bit of the light back in his eyes, “Yeah, I want dumplings if it’s not too much trouble.” He sits up. “I’ll sit with Ed, a-and watch you. I’ll help if you need it.”

He’s still a little confused about what brought this on, but he supposes it will come out when it needs to. “Alright. What do you want in the dumplings. Barbecue pork, minced pork, shrimp, veg. And do you want soup in them or nah.”

“I just want you to know.” He’s quiet for a moment and buries his face in Liam’s chest, his voice muffled and soft now. “Just in case.” You never know what might happen.

“Alright.” He’s quiet too as he strokes Klaus’ hair. “I won’t make you talk about anything else if you don’t wanna. I love you too.” He’s worried now, but won’t push...yet. “Do you want food. I can make you dumplings.” Food makes people feel better, right? “Or we can sit with Ed.”

“That’s amazing!! You must’ve worked hard for it!” At the other’s description of his job, Mathias couldn’t help but be a little bit amazed. “I’m sure you’ll be absolutely stunning for your final! Heck, probably could pass it with flying colours!” He gave the other a few pat on the back, with confidence for the other, even when it’s not his own final to worry about.

Hell yeah I did. Not really the kind of life for, like, a slacker or whatever. [there’s a hint of a cringe at being touched, and he moves away subtly.]

“I’m glad!” Mathias give a beaming smile at the other, just for accepting his bracelet. He reached for his bag and dug around a bit before bringing out out, a weaved bracelet with a few wooden beads for decorations. “Oh! Where do you coach? At the school?” He had always admire the talents of dancers, something that he knew wasn’t as easy as it seemed.

[he fiddles with the bracelet a bit.] Nah. I coach at a local studio, mostly youngish kids. It was, like, kind of a requirement for my degree. Kinda like an internship kinda thing. [not really, he just wanted to impress his teachers.]

[shrug] Sure. It might look cool with my other stuff. [and he sluuuurps on his drink again] Hip hop, mostly; though I coach in contemporary and postmodern.

At the mention of a dance final, he perks up momentarily with some out of the blue energy. “What do you do for a dance final?”
