Incoming rant ...
Annoyed, because I happened to be scrolling through my old gifs and so many had been marked as “sensitive” ?? I know that censors them from certain devices based on settings, but otherwise I don’t really know the rules behind them. 90% are neither gory nor sexual so I don’t understand??? Did some one feel petty and flag literally almost all of my sets as “”sensitive”” Cause that would be super fucking idiotic and I’d be so done if that were the case...
Some examples ...
I mean, can no one handle a weenie joke? are you kidding me??
I’m requesting review on the sets that are obviously completely baseless; even so, that applies to tons of these. I don’t care about anything “borderline.” Really, I get it, that some people need safe spaces, and I do my best to respect those. But seriously, this is killing my motivation here!
Tezi Gabunia - Breaking News: The Flooding of the Louvre, 2018
“Natural disaster linked to climate change, and the responses of our modern media culture, are the concerns at the helm of Gabunia’s project. Of particular concern to the Tbilisi-based artist are the Paris floods of 2018, and the subsequent laissez-faire attitudes shown through news media coverage at the time. In ‘Breaking News’, water enters the prestigious museum venue, slowly filling it and destroying the famous exhibits it holds. The miniature Louvre was borrowed from an earlier exhibition by Gabunia titled ‘Put Your Head into Gallery’, where viewers were encouraged to put their head inside the museum models to literally become part of the art on display. The uncannily realistic video footage is Gabunia’s reminder that the threat of catastrophe is perhaps not as far fetched as would seem.” [via IGNANT]
Twin Peaks: The Return Part 1
Finally getting around to watching the Twin Peaks Revival after a long delay! I’ll be making some gifs along the way, but they’ll be mostly spoiler-free like this one. I’ll also tag them Twin Peaks Revival.
