Analog photography seduces ghosts like nothing else. It woos them into the photograph and holds them there. They try to escape, but it’s often too late: The film has captured the ghost’s very essence; its light; its being; its soul.

I hope my followers don’t mind something different from the usual -- I’m shooting portraiture to pay the bills, and it’s a beautiful experience. I’ve done it before, but I feel more comfortable doing it now, especially having help from an assistant. I’ll settle into my style/voice more when I get to a deeper comfort level, but for now I’m shooting the portraits people initially have in mind, I guess. As an INFJ, I love learning about people and watching them and sharing and connecting with them. Also as an INFJ, I like my alone time, and socializing takes a lot of energy I often don’t have and a lot of work that is very difficult for me to do. It’s a paradox in a way. But it’s worth every minute of it. It’s tiring and exhilarating all at once, and I am finding this work to be very rewarding. The future is looking better. A great thank you to this beautiful couple for letting me use their photographs in my portfolio and providing a wonderful time full of laughter and joy.
