I don't know why I keep coming back here

I haven't even seen my tc in what, a year and a half? i honestly don't know why I keep coming back to this account. Don't get me wrong, I still think he's handsome, and charming and whatnot, but it's not like I still have a crush on him.

I think it's just nice to stay in the community a bit and watch other people feel the same things I used to feel. The excitement when you pass them in the halls (and taking detours so you pass their class). Making sure you look extra good for their class. The somersaults your heart makes when they make eye contact for a second. It's all so exciting and fun.

Even though I don't necessarily miss him, I do miss the childlike naivety of it all.

It's been over two years since I graduated and I still can't help but think of him from time to time. I think what keeps drawing me back isn't necessarily him, but more what he represented. The joys of being a teen and not having to worry about bills and health insurance. Having silly little crushes. Prom and dumb highschool drama.

Being an adult fucking sucks.

As a tcc member who has been graduated for a while now, the first day of the new school year is always difficult. I'm working a full time job now, and seeing all these kids getting ready for school again is a reminder of how things will never be the way they were.

It's not even funny how cute my manager at work is lmao. And the way she always calls me by my nickname is fucking killing me. I mean today she grabbed my waist to move past me and if it was a man I would've started a fight but omg I damn near melted.

I fucked myself over so bad, and now I don't know what to do. I dropped out of college in march to start working, but now i'm even more miserable. I kinda want to start studying again, but I have no clue what to do.

Back in highschool, I could always talk to D about stuff like this, and he really helped me get through everything. But now, I don't have any contact with him anymore and I'd kill for some of his advice
