So for my first post I decided to make a review of the turn A Gundam. I really really like this suit, it’s super unique and it has a really good feel and is nothing like anything I’ve built before. For a 2007 kit this is so impressive, generally I don’t like to work with abs plastic but it didn’t bother me much at all here, the only thing I struggled with was the upper arm connection to the elbow which is extremely tight and hard to lock into place. Aside from that though this build was incredible it was so quick and easy. Also this kit comes with a 1/100 cow figure???? Probably the best part lowkey. Worth it just for that tbh.
Pros:
-Incredible finished product, minimum painting required (only the red dots on the legs and if you prefer a more orange yellow then those sections aswell)
-great articulation
-fun build
-awesome shelf presence
Cons:
-The shield and rifle are slightly hard to hang onto
-huge seam line on the side of the head
-Finger construction took me a while and would be easy to break if not careful!!!
-no midnight butterfly
Really there isn’t much to complain about here, it looks good on the ground and in the air, the panel lines are stunning and awesome and the build is incredibly fun. This lit just recently got a reprint so it will be cheaper then it has been in years, it’s a definite must for me personally. This kit was designed by katoki which really shows, that combined with originally being drsigned by Syd Mead means that this is a stunning thing to look at and really really should be built by anyone who can find it.
