okay. i watched heavenly creatures the other day and now, i think i'm like properly obsessed. i mean, the real life case is disturbing and tragic yes, but idk why my mind has fixated on melanie lynskey and kate winslet, their friendship and how they sadly grew apart like brooo that is so heartbreaking.. but anyway yes, that was like a 9/10 watch

a whodunnit murder mystery where sophia is the benoit blanc/hercule poirot kind of kooky detective, yoonchae or megan as the skeptical watson sidekick who follows her around to help solve the case, and manon as the wrongfully accused but really suspicious character who seems to be at the very heart of the crime

i'm even thinking, like, manon as the wife or fiancée of the victim (ykno, like how ppl almost always assume it's the spouse who did it)

can't think rn where dani and lara fit in the whole mystery, but either of them could be one of those ppl who are adamant about manon's involvement in the murder

ofc i'd love a maphinz au, but rly even if it's just a katseye au with this plot, i'd eat it upppp

came across the maphinz tiktok from christmas last year and wowww so much can rly happen and change in just a year

cuz i was already jumping for joy just seeing them do a trendy tiktok on christmas day then.. maphinz crumbs last year were REALLY crumbs, like actual atom particles

the 5 maphinators already feeling so giddy abt them sitting beside each other in a photoshoot or content vid, the invisalign ads.. the biggest moments we had were probably those subtle thumb rubs during my way stages (which were only like 1 or 2 performances idk), those were MEALS

like wdym they posted each other on ig stories, holding hands during a flight and being each other's anchor??? wdym they're on tour carressing each other's faces and singing cheesy lyrics to the other?? WDYMMMM!?

just wowww icb how much has changed, fandom-wise (both the maphinz community and the eyekon fandom as a whole) and group-wise.. you could rly see how much closer katseye have become this past year, maphinz and sodani in particular (...or maybe it's just cuz i'm sophia biased lol)

anyway im rambling but aaaa katseye my girlies, you've grown so much and you will keep growing!!! so proud and will always be here to support you 🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂
