How to increase Quickness and change of Direction with in 30 seconds! If you want your kid to get the highest level performance training possible, get the most out of their time and money, and give your athlete the best understanding of how to increase performance... Email us right now to set up a consultation to [email protected] Watch this video to learn how to use a power band in lateral Power training. You will see it is more than just putting a kid in some bands and have them jump. Performance training high level improvements isn't from the actual exercise. It is the many execution points that increase the performance of an athlete. The exercise is just a stimulus added to the coaching on how to execute the movement. The reason for this is because what really matters is the carry over to the field, court, or stage. Right? As you can see in the video if I was just to let this athlete jump and do his best with what he knows before I coached him, yes he would get better. He is going from never doing it, to doing it as part of his training. Plus by next year he will be older and better than now. Is this really what you want? No. Let me explain. Actually yes we want the benefit from the stimulus of the exercise and we want our kids to grow up and develop. But we do not want to limit their potential, correct? We are putting our kids into a high level program and paying for that program to get PEAK POTENTIAL. As you can see the proper understanding and coaching is vital in getting the results you want. #football #footballcoach #basketball #soccerlife #sportperformance #cheerleader #rebelcheer #varsitycheer (at SYNC Fitness & Movement, LLC)

Debbie Love is one of the most genuine people we have ever met! We instantly clicked with her in our mission for youth athlete injury prevention. We knew we wanted to help her spread the word and her teachings. We are proud to have her in many of our modules being developed for ADU's P3 solutions for cheer athlete injury prevention. #tumbling #gymnastics #usasfworlds #usasf #cheerleader #cheerleader #cheer #varsitycheer #rebelcheer
Does Cheerleader = athlete? Have you seen a double full? This past weekend in Dallas we had the pleasure to meet hundreds of great coaches and gym owners. A highlight of our weekend was getting to go to Spirit of Texas and apply our 3D movement screen with Maddie Hayes, Christian Walker and a few more elite athletes. Wait did I say? Elite Athlete? Cheerleaders? Note: Christian Walker's dad is Herschel Walker, famous football player, who played for the Dallas Cowboys. I'm saying this because of an interview he did with his son. "I didn't know what that [competitive cheer] was. Then he's [Christian], 'Oh, no. People turnin' flips and all this stuff. Dance and all this.' And I came out to see it. And I saw how athletic the kids were that was doin' it," Walker said. Hey parents, coaches, gym owners... the old ways have got to GO! These girls and guys are true athletes where injuries have increased because of lack of preventative measure in athlete movement (not talking about skill). It is time for the cheer industry to get up to speed with all the other sports. Let's get these kids doing the proper corrective techniques and implement a year long program to continually increase their foundations. Keep these kids out of the injury cycle. Listen to what Brett has to say! Message us now to start teaching your staff and then educating the parents on ADU system so we can implement into your gym. #cheerleader #usasf #usasfworlds #gymnastics #tumbling

Foundation for youth athletes no matter level of skill. There is a very big issue of the confusion of a kids skill level and their athletic level. Just because skill is high doesn't mean athletic level is equal. Many times their athletic level is misinterpreted being much higher than it actually is. I know I know. Some will say well my kids is a high level athlete and what I'm saying has doubt. What I'm saying is 100% correct. I'm not saying an athlete isn't a great athlete in the sense that most define an athlete. I'm saying with great skill in teen age years will cover up athletic abilities like joint range of motion, proper proprioception, full capabilities in concentric /eccentric /isometric phases, correct joint stability, the right core anchoring system to allow weight loaded mobility and postural control, and all the many other requirements in setting foundational athlete performance and injury prevention. With this said. NO MATTER where you are located or what level your kid is in a sport. Research the most qualified athlete development experts. Say away from the cliche cookie cutter programs. Your kid is worth giving them the best. It saves you money and saves them from the pain of injury. #motivation #athlete #youthsports #coach #strengthcoach #youthathletes #injuryprevention #sportsperformance (at SYNC Fitness & Movement, LLC)

Fixing Youth Injuries on Two Fronts: What is the difference between Skills Development and Athlete Development? Both are needed to truly fix this very serious phenomenon. Read to the end and watch the included video to learn how simple adjustments can reduce the risk of injury. What a great weekend here in Chicago at the USASF Midwest Regional. We had the pleasure to meet many positive leaders in the cheer and dance industries. It is now time for proactive and no more reactive approaches in the prevention of youth injuries. Please read all below and get the free video that Warren and ADU shares to help ankle mobility issues. In the video below Warren goes over the ankle complex and how to properly work on range of motion. The ankle is, more times than not, the cause of weak and imbalanced hips which results in the knees moving inward causing ACL and other injuries. By the way all are predictable and preventable! Here are two key points when it comes to doing true injury prevention and athletic performance improvements: 1) How you execute stretches and strengthening exercises is vital to having proven success. General execution of exercises or stretches is NOT effective because the athlete is already identified doing improper movements. Hence they will do improper movements in stretching and exercises as well, all furthering injury and decreased athletic potential. Common Sense Stuff! 2) The order and intensities of how stretches and exercises are done, will determine if the effort put in will show positive results at 100% and not 60, 70, or 90%. Think about it! Athletes are NOT couch potatoes, right? Any group or order of exercise for a couch potato will benefit them, but not athletes. Athletes have movement pattern issues that cause wear and tear on tendons and ligaments because of inefficiencies in some muscles and over use in others. This develops because of repetitive movements in a sport. This is called PRACTICE OF SKILLS. POS is vital in getting good at the sport. #cheer #youthfootball #youthsports #baseball #trackandfield #usasf #usasfworlds #popwarner #injuryprevention #injury #plantarfasciitis #shinsplints #achillesrupture (at SYNC Fitness & Movement, LLC)

Is passive static stretch what hamstrings need? No on Two fronts. FIRST if you have a anterior pelvic tilt you don't have shortened hamstrings (They are tight because they are being constantly pulled on, lengthened.) You need to NOT stretch the hamstrings and strengthen the heck out of them. And all other muscles that are supposed to be synergistic and have proper length tension ratios. In addition lengthen and deactivate the groups that impose dominance and cause dysfunctional movement patterns. SECOND hamstring tightness has everything to do with core function. Your body has an amazing ability of automatically activate muscles when instability is sensed. You ever have a muscle spasm? Lower back or hamstrings? Or both? When you have that spasm you instantly stretch that muscle or get it massaged. Doing this might feel great when you do it but you are making it worse and definately a repetitive event. These spasms happen because your brain gets the signal there is something wrong with an area of stabilization and strength. So your brain signals back fire up those muscles (spasm) and protect my body from this issue. Your body has protection mechanisms that actually can cause other issue that can hurt or even kill you. Just like over storing fat incase of food famine which leads to disease. Just like when you have major trama and your body goes into shock. Or fight or flight response that has you to try to out run a bear. Athlete Development University is now able to bring all this real science to Youth Athlete Organizations, school districts, tactical professions, college or pro teams, or any entity that needs injury prevention, performance maximization, or body development. Or all as a matter of fact. Contact us now at our facebook page. Never give Up on your dreams..... wait do allow yourself to have dreams? Or do you limit your dreams because you think there are barriers? Would you believe me if I said that the limits you put on yourself are fiction. If I told you that your perceived perceptions of unreachable reality "Unicorns" are real and can be possible, would you take action? If you look all around you, you will see many many people just like me and YOU who quit bitching and whinning, quit looking at others for fault and looked deep within, started being positive and eliminated the negatives, who really grew a passion and this crazy deep burning desire to want to give purpose to the world in some form or fashion.
