It is the many execution points that increase the performance of an athlete. The exercise is just a stimulus added to the coaching on how to execute the movement. The reason for this is because what really matters is the carry over to the field, court, or stage. Right? As you can see in the video if I was just to let this athlete jump and do his best with what he knows before I coached him, yes he would get better. He is going from never doing it, to doing it as part of his training. Plus by next year he will be older and better than now. Is this really what you want? No. Let me explain. Actually yes we want the benefit from the stimulus of the exercise and we want our kids to grow up and develop. But we do not want to limit their potential, correct?
