After a solid ten minutes of pacing in the living room, and a slighty embarassing pep-talk in the bathroom mirror, Puck finally heard the knocking that he'd be anticipating. Hand on the knob of the door, he took one final, calming breath before swinging it open. "Hey, baby," he greeted warmly, managing to keep the apprehension he was feeling out his voice. Cupping one of her cheeks, his lips brushed against the other, and when he pulled back, his hand trailed down her arm to grab her hand. "Thanks for coming. I didn't mean to freak you out or anything. I just...yeah. C'mon, we can sit out back."

Sitting on the balcony, although it wasn't all that spacious, meant fresh air, which was exactly what Puck needed after all that pacing around inside. Still holding into her hand, he pulled Quinn down next to him onto the small, cushioned bench and met her eyes. That simple act helped ease his nerves to some degree, but there was still so much going on in his head. Naturally, he stalled. "So, where you coming from looking all pretty? Church, or your parents?"

The pet name was already making Quinn want to hide away, a light pink blush dusting her cheeks as she kept her head held high and pretended it didn't phase her. Stepping into the apartment she's greeted with a sweet kiss to her cheek, and soon his hand is holding hers. It feels so sweet, so very domestic, and well it's definitely not freaking Quinn out. No she's totally fine with all of this. "Hey, hey, it's fine Noah. Sure I got a little panicky like you got hurt or something... But I appreciate you making an effort to try and keep me calm."

She's walked with him to the patio, the fresh spring air helping to keep her cool. As they sit down she curls up next to him. Lifting her legs so that they lay over his lap. "Visiting the folks." She lies. She had been in her dorm just moments ago. Had picked out the dress in a flurry of action. Something about the text had her feeling on edge and well if he was going to break up with her... She'd make sure he regretted it with how good she looked. "But I don't think you called me all the way here just to see how I was doing... Everything okay?"

Quinn approached the apartment door with a bit of nerves. She didn't know exactly what Puck wanted to talk about. But the fact he was so adamant about having that talk certainly made her nervous. Rather than nocking she had spent a few minutes fixing her sundress in the lobby of the apartment building. Once her nerves had been calmed at least a little she finally went upstairs and found Puck's place. Knocking on the door she waited with bated breathe.

When the door finally did open she couldn't help her smile, her voice quiet as she shyly asked "so you wanted to talk?"

For a super official survey: One thing you wished you would've packed for Spring Break and one thing you could've gone without?

I wish I had packed more sunscreen. I ran out by like day three, thank goodness for google translate so I could figure out what I was buying from the store though.

One thing I could have gone without though was some of my clothes. I brought wayyyy too many outfits for as much time as I spent on the beach.

Best memory from the trip

Best memory from my trip would have to be those five magical hours spent in a hot tub with Noah after convincing my roommates that I was sick so I couldn't go out, the things that man can do to me a tie between when I went with Frannie to those local shopping markets or the night Santana took me out clubbing. Found some really cute new clothes and all of them were hand made. Getting to spend time with my sister is always the best! But also getting to go out and see Santana cause some chaos was absolutely a blast. I've missed letting loose with her!

Technically, all I did was have some drinks with him as I dumped my baggage on him, and then he did the same. All he really said is that you're his ex, and you've been hanging out. He also said he spent the week in a room with some other guy who's interested in you. I'm mad you didn't tell me any of this yourself! But I don't have any secrets. Not really, anyways. Also, I won't be staying in our room tonight, and maybe not tomorrow night either. Santana and I have some making up to do.

Plus, I normally like when my back's all red and in pain, but this sunburn's kinda kicking my ass, so it'd be nice if you were there to rub some aloe on it. And it's very low effort for you. "I don't need reminding of how amazing you are, trust me. And no, no trouble for me. Not yet, at least. I've been just chillin' most of the time. But I was thinking about getting a tattoo or something while we're here. Oh, and waking up early to go surf one morning. I'm probably hella rusty, so I'd rather go when it's not super crowded so everybody doesn't see me my bust my ass." Nodding, he pulled away, smiling against her lips as she kissed him. A surge of warmth, one that had nothing to do with the scorching rays of sun that were beating down onto them, coursed through his body. "A daiquiri, got it. Be right back." As he sauntered off, his lips curved upwards at the use of the familiar nickname and how casual it was. Puck was thankful he was walking away so she couldn't see him smiling like a lovesick puppy. The bar was crowded, but seemed to be pretty efficient at getting the drinks out. He'd spent a lot of his free time before the trip cleaning some of his old clients pools, and having all the extra cash was definitely a nice payout. Once he finally received their drinks, he trekked back down the beach in search of a blonde head of hair, eventually locating their towels. "Your drink, milady," he said, bowing down jokingly and holding it out for her with an exaggerated wink. "Not gonna lie, I took a tiny sip of it on the way over. It was pretty good. Almost as good as mine." He carefully lowered down onto the towel, propping himself up with his elbow and taking a sip of the Manhattan he'd ordered. Glacing at Quinn, then at the strong waves smashing against the sand, he exhaled deeply and shifted to face her with a tiny smile. "I still can't believe I'm here. With you. I sure as hell didn't expect this when I transfered schools, but damn, I'm glad I did. You havin' fun so far?"

"You always know how to make me swoon don't you Puckerman." She giggles easily before raising an eyebrow curiously. "You better invite me out when you do. I wanna watch, or maybeee I'll even try it myself. I always did love some competition, see who could learn it quicker." Again laughter escapes her before pushing him away and towards the bar. Watching Puck go she could still feel the buzz from the myriad of drinks she'd had on the plane. Cedes and Frannie had definitely been all too eager to get the trip started strong, and well how could she deny them. It had lead to some interesting conversations, and well maybe it might have given her the push to seek out Puck. She still couldn't believe how things had been going, it felt like a dream. Though with that dream came the fear that any second it might end and she'd be waking up alone and cold once more. Shaking her head from those thoughts she'd instead focused on relaxing to the sound of the waves. Putting on a show with a loud gasp, her hand clutching at her chest as though she was wearing pearls. "Well thank you my Good Sir!" Laughter escaping her as she reaches up to take the drink as he bows low to her. The wink he gave as she takes the drink sends a warmth through her that she knows isn't from the sun or the booze, and instead is from a boy she can't help but feel giddy over. To have his attention and focus it makes her feel like she's on cloud nine. As he mentions stealing a sip she can't help but give a mock look of shock and horror. "You know you're lucky I find you so cute. To be stealing sips from my drink, I better get a taste of yours." As Puck takes his seat next to her she all but climbs into his lap to grab at his drink. Laughing giddily as she tries to take a sip from it, only stopping as she realizes how close to his face she's gotten. Glancing down she sees that tiny smile of his and listening to his words it has her smiling shyly back at him. "Well we're here Noah, we're here together. And I'm having the best time." Staring down at those lips she wants to kiss him so badly but instead chooses to sit back on her towel and take a sip of her drink. She was going to need a little liquid courage. Especially if she planned on potentially telling him about feelings this week... "What about you? Having fun yet?"
