Press(media)

       Today the Press is doing an important role of the society, even in the world. In the past, the media functions as a conveyor of the real facts and critics about the society phenomena. However, today the media not only do the former functions but also create public opinion. They are doing a more active social role of the society. Therefore many people are more likely to suggest their opinion through the media and interested in seeing the media's talking. Though, there are some problems. If the media uploaded the untruth by mistake, it's impact was harsh. Some people believed that the untruth is the true thing, and by announcing the untruth somebody could be damaged in some way. In contrast, not by mistake, some media exploit news to take advantage of some results. The media wanted to attract attention or earn some money from informant. The media has both advantages and disadvantages, so we should be careful and keep looking whether the media is doing well.

Communication skill

         Communication skill is the ability to be able to convey the meaning that I wanted to say when we talk each other or exchange our opinion through the document. It is a necessary ability to make a smooth interpersonal relationship. Actually, if I am lack of this communication skill, whatever I do in the future, it is hard to be recognized as a excellent person in some fields. Some people may say that this ability is greatly affected by natural-born characters, but it can be improved by the effort. If someone who is not good at communicating awares and realize the next 3 things, his/her communication skill can be developed. At first, listening and expressing sympathy is important. You should separate between objective facts and subjective opinions, and agree or make some action to other person's story. Second, You should start to say after you organize your thoughts logically. There are some people who talk strange, so we can't understand exactly. This can be solved by thinking before you start your story. Lastly, you should careful of the pronounciation and vocabulary. Although you are good at doing the former things, inaccurate pronunciation and improper using of vocabulary can disturb the communication.

Multicultural Society

         Multicultural society is a society that different and several culture groups coexist, and  the percentage of foreign residents should be more than 5 percent of all people in one society. The decisive reason that our country became a multicultural society is international marriage and increase of foreign migrant workers. It happens because of the 3D industry avoidance after industrialization and economic development and unbalanced sex ratio in rural areas. As a result, living in a multicultural society, we are favorable to make contiuing economic development because foreign migrant workers filled our labor market manpower. Also, due to international marriage, we could solve the unbalanced sex ratio in rural areas. Moreover, multicultural society made our country culture more abundant and let people learn another culture that they have never experienced. Above all things, an inevitable sources that our country could be a multicultural society was international exchange and development of traffic and communication between countries.

Exchange Student

          When I look around my friends, not only I but also many friends are thinking about applying for a student exchange program. Personally, I believe we should go to somewhere as a exchange student if the several situations like money allows. Because, at first, being a exchange student make us develop self reliance. Going to an alien land is not just exciting and interesting thing. It is really strange. I don't know the land as well as my hometown, and there can be an unpredictable situations enough, so we can scared. But, the decision that I will go another country and study at there means that I am ready to improve my self-reliance. In 21 century, in the university or more bigger society, if we are lack of self-reliance, it is hard to progress or develop. Also, we can build up career and experience in related to my future job. For example, if you want a job that requires professional language skills or super communication skills, you can improve your foreign language ability and learn how to approach people and communicate with them by meeting new people.

Customs Broker(Customs Attorney)

          Now, my major is international trade. I am learning many things like economy, social etc, but in my major I usually learn about the trade. There is a job that I can make my knowledge totally used. If you are ignorant of trade related professions, this term sounds unfamiliar. I didn't decide my accurate job yet, but I am interested in this job so I will post about the customs broker. Customs Broker (or Customs Attorney) is the professional job and they do the customs section with legal terms and do the lawsuit and dispute instead of people. Therefore, to be a customs broker, you should pass the customs broker exam. This job requires us legal knowledge, super other language ability, and numerical abilities that can make us calculate tax amount accuartely and fast. The first reason that I am interested in this job is that it is free, individual, and independent working. Also,when I start to work, my career builds up and I can be treated accordingly. Lastly, there is a autonomy that I can select the section I want to work in.These things were attractive to me.

United Nations

        We all are independent entities in the world, but we do not live alone. We are living influencing each other in several societies. For this reason, we should get along with people around us and coexist considering each other. For instance, in a small society, at school, students have to follow the rules not to fight with teachers and when a one student win a prize, it gives the school a high reputation. Likewise, because countries in the Earth exist influencing in variety each other, the problem between them must be solved and they have to keep peace. According to this need, I will introduce about international organization, UN. First, international organization is the alliance between countries made for particular purpose. One of the international organization is the UN. United Nations prevent war, keep peace, and do the role of promoting international cooperation in every section. It was made at 1945, after the Second World War. In the UN, there are many agencies and rules to keep for the UN member country.

Fair Trade

       Have you ever heard about a fair trade? I think most people have heard before at least once, but I will tell you the fair trade specifically. Fair trade is a social movements that promote paying the fair price in related to production in various goods. Coffee is the representative example of the fair trade. The profit that Africa coffee beans producers earn was only 1 percent of the total price of the coffee. Therefore, to overcome the unfair trade and pay for the just price to them, many countries started to exclude the broker who get the money more and let producers and consumers trade in person. Though, there are some people who claim that fair trade is disturbing the competition among the countries. However, competition in an unequal position has no meaning. After making developing countries producers earn fair income, all trade can be a meaningful trade.
