Prunus mume 梅 (also plum blossom or Chinese plum) is intimately associated with art, literature, and everyday life in China, from where it was then introduced to Korea, Vietnam, and Japan. The flower is one of the “Three Friends of Winter” along with bamboo and pine. 🌸🎋🌲

Its fruit, known as meizi 梅子 in Chinese, is used in juices and sauces; as a flavoring for alcohol; and may be pickled or dried. It is also used in traditional Chinese medicine.

One of the first #Giftillism pieces from 2018. 300 frames, 1024 px, 1.5 mb. *The 300 of H3lix (pinned post), 'womb' of this term I coined to define these works created with the basic element of digital art (white pixels) were the conclusion of the journey, not the start.

#Giftillism is digital Pointillism, but in digital terms, the very basic element of the image is not a 'point', but 'pixels', that are squares, that are 4 points, that are a plane. The concept of 'Point, line and plane' of Kandinsky, acquires a new dimension in digital. Just light. No gray scales, but 'whitescales', where different levels of whites are defined by the density of pixels, by emission of light, not by reflection of it as happens in traditional art.

All my work is linked, regardless the blockchain, the platform, the format or the date.

My trajectory hasn't started with 'Cryptoart', and not understanding this, is not understanding the body of my whole work. We the artists don't start or are 'born' when others decide it, but when we start creating, actually, when we are born.

All is being tied carefully for the future.✍️

Mermay day 3: Nishikigoi (koi)

Koi fish trace their lineage to the humble common carp, first domesticated in East Asia over a millennium ago. In 19th-century Japan, rice farmers began carefully breeding these carp for their rare and beautiful colorations, giving rise to the exquisite ornamental koi. Their captivating beauty and cultural significance captured global admiration after their debut at the Tokyo Taishō Exposition in 1914.

My daughter Lama, with a heart as pure as a flower, carries pain greater than her years. She was injured in the war, and a metal plate was placed in her small hand. But the pain doesn't stop there... She needs care, medicine, food... and we have nothing. No medicine, no food, not even a loaf of bread.

We live under a siege that silently kills us. I beg you, from the depths of my heart... help her if you can, or share this plea so it reaches those with the ability and compassion.

Lama deserves life. Why are you ignoring me? Hasn't it come time for us to take action and stand together against this injustice?
