Oh shucks. Now I can't cut the grass. 😆
The air seems to be clearing a little, thank God. The air still smells like smoke though. I wonder if these fires go out in the winter by themselves, and start by themselves every summer because all winter the wind comes from the north west and I never smell smoke in the winter. Oh well. There are worse things.
The smoke is getting thick. I've never seen it this bad. I had to tape a garbage bag over my air conditioner as the house was smelling like smoke. That didn't help so much; the house smells like smoke anyway. This is the pits.
According to the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre (CIFFC), there are currently 836 active wildfires burning, including 194 classified as completely out of control. WTF. 🙁🤯😫
Smoke filled air. Yay. Weird color is the way things look. This seems a little more pink than with the eyeball, but not much different.
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy has issued an Air Quality Alert for Wednesday July 15, for elevated levels of fine particulates (PM2.5). Pollutants are expected to be in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups range, though there is potential for Unhealthy levels.
Canada is on fire. Again. Every year, every summer, smoke fills the air and I'm grounded to the house. As Mork would say, "Shuzbut!"
Happy Tuesday, a scorcher. Red sky in the morning, sailor crank up the air conditioner.
See the neighbor bailed up his weed collection.
Hold on to your bippies, boys and girls.
It's going to get a little sticky around here
.
This is a big tree behind my house that reeks this time of year like an air freshener.
There are these little flowers hanging off the tree that for a week or so fill the air with smell-pretty.
Another slightly foggy morning. Yesterday the neighbor cut his hay, which is mostly weeds. I suppose he will bail it up today.
There is a touch of fog this morning. It might rain cuz my hands are killing me, but it doesn't look like it now.
Thorns? Stems? Nice quality control. Eat carefully? Cherry trees have thorns? I'm so confused.
I call her/him/it Black Kitty. Probably a she; she has a bad attitude. This cat is about as old as the one that just died .
Corn is not exactly knee high by the forth of July. Ankle high is more like it.

Tick bite can cause up to 18 different diseases? Video is a documentary over an hour long. Educational. My daughter sent it to me. I guess she is worried about me.
This is an insult to the taste buds. I had to try it, just once. Now I know. 🤢
What is cyclosporiasis? Michigan health officials share what to know amid outbreak
Cyclosporiasis isn't deadly, but state health officials say it can cause diarrhea, nausea, bloating and cramps.
I thought all my hard work modifying my diet went to hell, but I'm not so sure now.
