He never has despite his icy words and fiery lackadaisical attitude whenever he name comes up. Petty is his best color after all. Eyeing her warily, Isaac purses his lips before his hands grip at his knees. Leaning forward in his chair, he adjusts to level with her.

      He's nodding, slowly. Feigned interest strikes his eyes, and his expression grows keenly unconvinced. ❛ Oh yeah? ❜ Isaac challenges. With his streak of luck, he'd be thankful to have a scar. People in his life leave nothing behind whenever they disappear.

❛ You can mention that to my dead ex-girlfriend, my dead brother, my dead mom, or — even — my dead dad next time you run into them. ❜ His tone grows increasingly sharper with bitter, biting sarcasm. If loss was a person, she'd accompany him everywhere leaving nothing but invisible scars. Not that it mattered. Isaac was used to that by now. ❛ I only came back to Beacon Hills because Scott called in a favor. ❜ Shoving his hands into his pockets, he cranes his head toward his counterpart. Isaac assesses the differences between them but refrains from a snarky remark.

      Gesturing with a nod, Nick's brow rises with surprise. ❛ Only one? ❜ He asks, subtle smirk teetering along his lips. He's no stranger to indulgence. No one in the Coven is.

      Folding his arms across his chest, his feet shuffle as he approaches the bar. Rarely does Nick ever come down this far. Rustic woods all around, mirrors lined with gold, glasses through the ages. He absorbs all of it in the moment. The last time he came down this way was for Sabrina's sake ( or rather for his own sake to drown out the memories ). Unfortunately, not even the magic of alcohol is enough the remove a Spellman from memory.

❛ I'll take your strongest. ❜ He blurts before even processing his options. He's never been a man with a taste for alcohol. While he knows the profiles, he considers it more a tool like a shovel to bury away the things he'd rather not see. Or at least, that's his recent mentality. ❛ So why the sudden hospitality? I figured you, of all people, would have plenty of options to keep you company. ❜

      His eyes avert, and Peter draws a hand to his chest as if she's wounded him. The plea of her voice is sharp to his ears. A frown pulls at his lips, but there's something apathetic in the way he presents it. ❛ You know I can't do that. ❜ He admits, surely confirming her own fears. Something about Peter's tone sounds sincere but lacks apology. They're tied together, for his better and likely her worse.

      Peter steps forward then and draws the hand at his chest to her hair. Fingers toy with the ends. His eyes settle to the way her hair looks like the leaves in autumn. Lydia's always so striking. Everything about her demands admiration, every piece of her compelling. Leave her alone?

❛ You know how important you are to me, don't you? ❜ Irreplaceable. Unparalleled. Special. There are a dozen words in the dictionary to convey his point, but his eyes demand her to listen rather than his words. ❛ And I think I'm important to you, too. Don't you agree? ❜

Peter genuinely finds beauty in what he turns people into. While he sells it as Midas Touch, it’s more like Midas Corruption. He corrodes the internal psyche and makes someone question their values and intentions. Partially because there is something very wrong with him but also because he seeks comfort in knowing that everyone can become just as broken as he is. He’s willing and takes a twisted pleasure in understanding that everyone, as their core, is morbid and cruel.

The fact that Scott is so bright and unrelenting frustrates him, especially because he made Scott in his eyes. He resents Scott for it, and he seeks to destroy it. Yet, a part of him really does respect Scott in the way someone yields to an immovable object.

"What is this; good cop, furry cop?" Stiles rolls his eyes. Somehow, his day has gone from bad to worse. Where the everloving fuck is Scott? Without his best friend he's a skinny human waiting to be bitten to shreds. "Come on, show me what kind of werewolf you are. If only to tell me if I should buy you puppy or adult dog toys."
